We stayed here in July and choose this hotel for its location and price. Paying 90€ we were expecting at least hot water. Rooms were basic but during our stay we had no hot water, no Wi-Fi and hair dryer didn't work. After complaining at the reception6the receptionist seemed to be aware of the problems but did nothing to help...

This was one of the friendliest hotels we stayed in during our 10 day tour of Southern Italy. Only a 10 minute walk from the historic downtown with all of the trulli buildings, this hotel was clean and convenient. My room was decorated in blue tones and was a decent size. The front desk staff would make coffee anytime you...

Have recently stayed at the Astoria and was very disappointed! The A/C didn't work so all night long we just heard a fan whirlin gaway......they apparently fixed it by adjusting the fan so another day of swirling noises!! Breakfast was particularly poor considering Puglia has an excellent cuisine. This is not a 4* hotel more like a 3* so you...

We didn't stay here so this review is just about the helpful girls at reception who were so kind to us when we were lost. They located where we were meant to be staying, contacted them, gave us a map, drew out a route, told us how to get there, made sure we were aware of other important details like...

The hotel reception area and dining room and our rooms were all very good. A special mention also to the manager who assisted us in locating various shops and who suggested places of interest. The only downside was the price - too much!

This hotel needs a major updating. This hotel does not have many amenities that the average traveler expects. The staff was polite and helpful but the rooms were the real drawback.

Make sure you insert your room keycard into the electrical box after you enter the room (otherwise, darkness prevails at some very inconvenient moments). The staff was as helpful as they could but had limited English. Lovely special little town. FYI: Very high bathtub/showers for those with any leg problems. And step lively outside; traffic signs and signals are only...

We stayed here Sept 7 &8 with our Insight bus tour. Our guide warned us that it might not be what we were used to and nothing on the scale of the hotel at we had just stayed in Rome, because Alberobello is such a small, country town and the accomodations are slim for large groups. Therefore, we were prepared...

We found the Astoria on Ryanair's website but booked it through another website because it worked out cheaper. It isn't what you'd call a "destination" hotel but it's clean, the food is good and it is near the town. We stayed in Alberobello for six nights but you could easily see all there is to see in two or three...
