We took a chance on Poggio Ascuitto based on Trip Advisor reviews, and are so happy we did! Eva, Massima and Olivia are delightful, as are the rest of their staff and the very friendly cats, dogs and horses. We were greated by Eva with a glass of wine. She was cooking dinner for some guests that evening, as we...

As other reviewers have mentioned, Eva and Massimo are superb hosts! Poggio Asciutto manages to balance the authenticity of rural, Tuscan life with modern convenience. The website photos simply do not do it justice. The views of the vines and surrounding hillsides are spectacular, the pool is quiet and private with ample sheltered seating and lounge chairs, and the apartment...

We booked Poggio Asciutto for a 6 night stay following 4 days in the hustle and bustle of Rome, and really we were taking a bit of a gamble. While the reviews on TripAdvisor were very good, there were very very few. Having returned from our holiday in Greve, I have no idea why there aren't more reviews on Poggio...

My husband stayed at this farm in 2007 and were most impressed so when my cousin and I planned a trip to Italy in May of this year, there was no question as to where we would stay in Tuscany. What a wonderful surprise to meet Eva, Massimo and Olivia. The farm is even more beautiful now, with the new...

We had the pleasure of taking horseback riding with Eva. Great price and such personal treatment. We had the best lunch when we got back and Eva and Mossimo are so nice and fun to talk to. We enjoyed them so much we came back for dinner. We didn't have a car and they were nice enough to come get...

OUR HOSTS: Massimo and Eva were incredible hosts! They were easy-going and friendly. There when we needed them but respected our privacy. The breakfasts were just what we needed to start our day and their delicious marmalade straight from the farm made it more special. We took advantage of the opportunity for a dinner at the farm on our last...

Our six days spent in Poggio Asciutto in May 2008 left us with some of the best memories from our month long trip to Italy. The locale, the hosts, the views, and this region of Tuscany far exceeded our expectations. As we write this review two months after our return to Canada, we find it difficult to put in words...
