Our multi-generational family of 9 recently returned from a one week stay at the beautiful and charming Villa Il Castellaccio. Leonardo welcomed our family warmly and provided us with all the necessary information to enjoy our stay in this amazing villa. What an experience! We just returned from a week stay at Villa Il Castellacio and couldn't have been more pleased with our choice! Our family of 9 (5 adults, 2 teens & 2 children) stayed in the private villa and had plenty of room. Leonardo met us promptly at our pre-determined arrival time and gave us a thorough walkthrough of the property in...

We spent a week in apartment 1. There were 4 of us (65 to 70 year-olds) and the accommodations were perfect.. Leonardo was extremely helpful and the setting is ideally Tuscan. We ate at the Casa del Popolo in Lucolena twice and both meals were terrific in taste and value. We also used the bbq which had a pizza oven...

We stayed a week at Villa il Castellaccio. Our host, Leonardo, couldn't have been more accommodating. He was there to greet us for our late arrival, full of useful tips and information. Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable, a delightful quiet place in the countryside close to many charming villages. We took advantage of the barbecue one evening to...

We loved our week in Tuscany at the Villa il Castellaccio. It was a great set-up for my multigenerational group. Our group of ten, including 4 kids ages 7 through 12, rented the main villa for the week. The house was clean and spacious and included everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids loved the pool and sharing...

What a wonderful place to spend a week in the mountains of Tuscany! Everything was clean & appointed well. We had 3 single beds in the long bedroom in apt 4. Very comfortable & spacious. Wifi worked great. Only thing that could be improved on is a small shelf in the smaller shower to hold toiletries & somehow fixing door...

The appartment, where we were staying, was a part of the big villa. Very elegant and comfortable. Fireplace in the appartment creates absolutely cosy and magical atmosphere when fire is lit. There is a pool, but at the time of our staying water was still cold. Although it was very nice to sit near the pool and enjoy sunshine. The...

This was my second trip to Italy and our first trip to Villa il Castellaccio. We were travelling to celebrate my 50th birthday and I researched endlessly trying to decide where to stay in Tuscany. I decided to book three apartments with Villa il Castellaccio and am so happy I did. We loved our week at Villa il Castellaccio! Leondardo...

We (two adults and our 17-year-old son) thoroughly enjoyed our two week stay at Villa Il Castellaccio. We are definitely considering returning again soon — although we do feel that there is room for improvement in the apartment we stayed in, Castellaccio 4. The complex’s owner, Leonardo, was a charming and extremely helpful host. Right from the very second we...
