My husband and I stayed for the weekend and had a lovely visit. Nice big rooms and bathrooms. Clean and convenient. Close to great restaurants and entertainment. Really fun. Breakfast was hot and delicious.

Entry and introduction to the facility was accomplished by telephone; the innkeeper provided breakfast. Room was adequate but overlooked a busy roadway and trolley line; noise was a significant factor. The facility had a old, dated feel to it although electricity, water and TV worked adequately.

It was my fiancé's first time in Norfolk (I'd lived in the area years ago) so I booked us a room at the Freemason Inn because the Freemason District looked interesting and historical and is near the waterfront. We were very happy with the inn, which was beautiful and historic without having that cluttered, fusty feeling that B&B's can have....

It seems like this place used to be lovely, but regrettably seems mismanaged as of late. Rooms not very clean, kitchen very very dirty. The place is understaffed. Good location, but I would urge you to stay elsewhere. The inn has a lot of potential but is clear not being run very well.

We thoroughly enjoyed the Freemason Inn Bed and Breakfast. The location was perfect for the items on our agenda: dinner at Voilà followed by touring the Chrysler Museum of Art the following day. Sherry, the Innkeeper, is a treasure. She is very friendly and can give you all sorts of tips about the area. She also cooks a wonderfully tasty...

We enjoyed this beautiful Bed and Breakfast . It is decorated with wonderful pieces. It takes you back over 100 years. The grandeur of Freemason Inn sets a wonderful mood. The location in the Freemason section of NORFOLK is a wonderful location to visit the site's of NORFOLK.Conviently located by the Light Rail line.

I feel like I'm reviewing a different place than most previous reviewers..Maybe the innkeeper was having personal issues or something but my husband and I wished immediately that we had chosen someplace else to stay:( On our day of arrival we had a few delays along our trip so we did not arrive until 430pm..When I rang the bell a...

I was friends with the owner who created the Freemason Inn Bobby Epstein but never stayed at the Inn. My wife "Michelle" and I are both in the Hotel Business so B&B's were never of interest. We decided to do something different and wow were we pleasantly pleased. The Inn has a lot of charm and the Inn Keeper Sherry...
