This was my second stay at WhiteWaters. Again I was very content with the staff and facilities. The owners are involved in the day-to-day business of the hotel; they quickly respond to problems . The staff are cheerful and very competent. This visit I discovered that the cook Fatima had a special talent for cooking fish! Breakfast was very much...

My wife and I enjoyed a quiet break in this 3 star hotel in a lovely location in Machico. The hotel, although classed as 3 star, provides a 5 star service of to its clients. It is spotlessly clean and well managed. The owners and staff treat you as part of the family in a very relaxed atmosphere. The food...

Having chosen White water due to the favourable reviews here on Trip-advisor, I most certainly wasn't disappointed by any aspect of my stay there. The hotel projects itself in a clean, well maintained and cared for manner, this it seems it due to perpetual diligence by the staff and owners. This some may think would lead to a sharp and...

Ive now stayed here four times and havent written a review before. I can only say book early as White Waters is now on the map and has become very popular. The owners are wonderful, everything is as you could wish. Now that Machico has a beach I have been able to swim in December and March.

All I can do is echo what has already been said in previous reviews. That is to say that it is a well situated hotel in a lovely little town that is about Ten minutes from the airport. The staff are very friendly and definitely go that extra mile to please you. There are no tea and coffee making facilities...

Very close to airport and good place to start fly drive tour of Madeira Island. Nice hotel close to beach and town centre. Ask at reception for key to underground car park as all parking in the area is by meter. Used the restaurant for all meals and found it fine.

Very nice staff & owners! Nice & clean rooms. I did not feel like a (room)number here ;-) Good conversations with other guests & staff/owners. Very helpful for any matter. Smiling people. Excellent if you rent a car & plan some hiking/visits on your own.

After a problem with our room on arrival, the owners and staff more than made up for our initial disappointment. We were given an upgraded room and meal, and it was a pleasure to spend a few nights here. The staff were ALL friendly and knowledgeable, and the hotel is perfectly placed in the heart of Machico.

Stayed here in August the hotel is lovely very white and clean. Our room was spacious and airy the hotel is situated about 5mins from the beach. However if you are looking for a party holiday this is not it. Very quiet quaint little village just the ticket if you want to relax. The village is situated between two mountains...
