This hotel was so much more than we expected!! It's in a small, country town that local people come to vacation on the weekends. It's not right in the middle of town but the area it's in is wonderful. The grounds are gorgeous!!!! There were little goats and birds in the back, like a little petting zoo. Along with an...

I was invited to an event organized by IdealDrinks and lived a few days in this very interesting and full of history Hotel. I liked it very much and I especially appreciated the great care they have to preserve ancient objects and elements that make the reputation of this place. It is not easy at all. The furniture is old...

This hotel is from the 20´s and has got a amazing facade, as well a beautiful architecture outside and inside! This is the kind of hotel that you see in the 20´s movies! There´s also a beautiful garden. There´s no noise since the hotel is located in the middle of the woods. Donald Sutherland shoot a movie in this hotel...

We had a wonderful time in this hotel. The staff was very accommodating. The new spa is wonderful. The outdoor pool, even though a bit outdated is very comfortable and never crowded. The hotel is a work of art!

The hotel is filled with history, and it is well preserved. The staff is very friendly, and the services provided are very good. Not everything is in its finnest shape, let's remind that this is a 100 yrs old hotel, but just because of that, is enables us to enter into a museum, where everything is carrying a long history.

Beautiful palacehotel and friendly and helpful staff. Excellent portuguise restaurant. Golf close but only 9 holes. Nice village nearby. I would like to return Curia some day. Only two and half hours from Lisbon.

This Hotel has a fantastic and rich history. On the past it was very popular holiday place for the rich Portuguese families. We could feel the tradition and could see the beautiful garden and building… But we didn’t get the same experience. The time is stopped in this hotel, but not in the golden age. The rooms, and the furniture...

You can feel the history when you walk into this huge hotel which first opened its doors in 1926 but this feeling is not always good. We stayed for only one night on an unfortunately rainy day in March and sadly we were not able to enjoy the beautiful grounds to the fullest. When you arrive the building feels imposing...

We stayed at the Curia Palace in April 2014, for my sister´s wedding weekend. Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Rooms are of a good size and very well equipped. Carlos, Jean-Paul and the other members of staff were extremely helpful at all times. Very good value for money and if I was ever in the vicinity, I would not hesitate...

We visited this hotel for one night as part of a conducted tour of northern Portugal. It rose from the countryside, in palatial splendour and we admired the beautiful gardens fronting the hotel, garlanded with perfect pink roses, though the unkempt grass beneath might have earned us of what was to come. The reception hall boasted a wonderful period lift,...
