We have stayed at both hotels and have to say either one would be good. I would say that Hotel Cala Bona would be my choice as the Alicia has become what is a Boutique Hotel and some of the rooms seem to be an odd layout. Hotel Cala Bona is in 5 separate blocks. If you book Hotel Cala Bona try to get a sea view or suite in the main block. We had a superior suite which had a view of both the pool and the mountains with a huge balcony. Cala Bona as a resor5 is nice and relaxed and Cala Millor is just a few minutes walk along the promenade if you fancy more night life.
Hope this helps.
