Just arrived back after a relaxing Easter break. Hotel looks out to a beautiful tranquil part of the coast, with breathtaking views of the med & the beach right next to the outside dining area & pool. Weather 22c daily , sunny. We enjoyed alfresco lazy lunches by the beach, served by the excellent Francisco .The cold dark winter days...

Spent the week up to Good Friday at The Gran Sol, everything excellent. Food, staff, location, weather all very very good. Hard to find fault at all with any aspect of our stay. Yes there is building work going on at the Levante next door including new road surfacing down to the harbour. This did not spoil anything for us,...

Had an excellent week at the Gran Sol at the start of April. We had a wonderful view of the Med from our room on the third floor and were not disturbed by the work on the Levante or the road. The food was plentiful, with lots of choice and of a very good standard. The staff (with the exception...

We were due to visit for the third time and were advised by Thomsons a few days before departure that The Levante Hotel next door was being refurbished and the road outside replaced. We were able to swap hotels and are pleased we did as The Levante is a building site and the road works a mess. We feel sorry...

Just had a very relaxing 2 weeks at the Gran Sol. Arrived on the17th March, the 1st day of the new season.so it was quiet which suited us down to the ground. No fighting for sunbeds but could imagine a problem at the height of the season.Large or small hotels all have the usual must have same sunbed for all the...

Just got back from a very relaxing week away. We booked a junior suite for some extra space as we travelled with our toddler. The hotel attracts older couples more than families with children (at least at this time of year), but the staff really went out of their way with our daughter. We were on half board and therefore...

If you are allocated a room that is directly opposite the noisy building site, then you get a shock. Noise, dust, and no chance of moving away to another room, is what you will get. Its sad, because the hotel is really excellent. The views are spectacular and the service good. An odd thing. I took to the hotel, a...

This is a small, friendly and clean hotel situated in the small area of Cala Bona. We stayed for a week at the beginning of April 2016 so a few bars and restaurants were still closed. The hotel is a very short walk from a small harbour in one direction and Cala Millor in the other direction. There is a...

Booked this as a last minute holiday with my boyfriend in August. Hotel was well placed by the beach and within walking distance of Cala Millor and Cala Bona. We were a little disappointed by Cala Millor as it was very Brits Abroad. Cala Bona was a little better, but we struggled to find an authentic Spanish restaurant. Facilities in...

We enjoyed most aspects of our holiday. The hotel was very comfortable and kept spotlessly clean. The staff were all very friendly and as helpful as they could be. However, the hotel is taken in its entirety by Thomson. What they fail to mention on their website, is that once you have booked you cannot move you are stuck with...
