We leave tomorrow following a 9 night stay here. We specifically looked for a hotel that was literally on a beautiful beach and we got it. The Hotel is 5 minutes from the airport which is ideal. It sits on a 6km promenade and sits right in the middle of it. The Hotel is spotless and the staff clean the apartments every day. We booked a one bed superior sea view apartment. The apartment is very modern , spacious, great walk in shower. Our view is fantastic. The balconies are also very private from each other. We did not include meals but we did eat dinner one evening, it was ok, Reasturant is very big and it was a buffet style. The pool is very nice, no max rush for beds thank god. The pool bar is great, great service and all tables overlook the sea. For any coeliacs like me , they serve San Miguel gluten free. We spent most days in the beach, it’s literally across a narrow road. The beach is gorgeous, you can rent beds but we just brought our towels. The water on a calm day is crystal clear and perfect for swimming. Outside the hotel you can turn right and there are many restaurants , plenty of choice. That stretch seems to be more families and couples etc. not too many bars. If you turn left, the shopping up further is better but it is busier with mainly Germans. The further you go up the younger partier type is there. This is why the location is so great, we prefer the quieter type of holiday so it suited us perfectly. There is a supermarket attached to the hotel too and a shop to rent bikes. We never stay at the same hotel but I have a feeling we will be back here. It ticked every box for us.…
Dirty and old furniture. Rooms are a disaster. The balcony is next to the hotel kitchen and it always smells bad. NO WINDOW IN THE BEDROOM! everything broken in the room. breakfast and location are ok
We had a fantastic week's holiday here. Location is spectacular. Taxi from the airport is 5 minutes but no noise from incoming or outgoing flights. Staff were brilliant. We didn't book any board but ate lunch a couple of times and the food was fine. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
This hotel is a throwback from the 1980’s. The staff and clientele are miserable. The food is non edible and we had to buy food after at the shop to eat. The entertainment is out dated and there is no atmosphere throughout. Limited staff members to assist on queries and a really depressing place to be unless you’re over 70, smoker and attendees for years. Avoid this hotel at all costs. Not worth the money you spend. And they charge for a bottle of water with dinner (half board) you pay for. Avoid
We stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment with a sea view. Fantastic spot as it's so close to the beach. You can literally go and come during the day if you don't have shade. Employees were all lovely from the front desk to room cleaners, all very accommodating. I slept on the sofa bed as the room mattresses were too soft for me, room is also very hot as it doesn't get air from outside, unless you like sleeping with air con. There is a supermarket next to the hotel so you can buy anything you need. Lots of restaurants around and the aquarium is very close. They have a kid's show every night during weekdays and music outside at night as well. Regarding the hotel's restaurant, there is a lot of selection for breakfast and dinner. I did find it a bit bland, not a lot of taste to it so this is the only part that I wouldn't give it a 5*. I did like a few dishes but the rest I just ate because I had half board included. Desserts are basically a few sponge cakes, fruit or ice cream. Was expecting from a 4* hotel. Overall I would still recommend for it's location - superb!…
We are a family of 4 including our two kids who are 4 and 6. It’s a lovely modern hotel which is compact and in a super location. Best bits are the location, cross the road and you’re on the most beautiful beach! Tonnes of eating and drinking options around. Incredible sea views from the balcony and the room is spacious. To improve would be the Wi-Fi in rooms. Yes I know we aren’t on holiday to sit on devices but the kids need some downtime after a full day and it’s been unreliable. Can be a little noisy at night if you have a seafront room. Can Pastilla is definitely family friendly but it is quite a built up resort which has made us felt quite claustrophobic at times. That’s what you get in exchange for the shortest transfer time ever so we were able to live with it but with our kids being so young I think Santa Ponsa is better as they have the square and also there are hardly any playgrounds here, the one we found was super run down. It’s a lovely hotel though, and there were plenty of sun beds. We didn’t use the kids club so not even sure it was open and we also didn’t visit the buffet so can’t comment on food.…
I had a booking with this hotel for the 21 AUGUST THIS WEEK) I was told to pay by 14 august and they cancelled my booking on the morning of the 14? Why are you ignoring my emails! I have been a loyal customer to this hotel and this is the treatment I get. Email me back so I can get my original booking back. I will change this review if I can actually get your mistake rectified!
Clean 4/5 Breakfast 3,5/5 - food is very good, crowded, a lot of noise , very bad coffee Room 4/5 - big room, a little bit outdated, bad smell inside Party every night until 23 pm- this was annoying. Beach in front of the hotel . A lot of restaurant near Free parking space
We stayed at this property in July 2021 and had planned to return in July 2022. Unfortunately my 7 moth old baby became unwell in the days leading up to our next stay and we were unable to fly to Mallorca. We contacted the hotel in the hope of moving the dates or being offered a credit note for next summer and were given information to contact Booking.com (who told us they'd be more than happy to refund us however it's at the hotel's discretion.) Having wasted hours on the phone at this point I finally got back through to the hotel who told me they refused to offer a partial refund. Absolutely terrible customer service, zero flexibility and no respect for return travellers. We had planned to return every summer and will now be staying at another hotel in the same area who have excellent customer service.…
Amazingly helpful staff, especially Herbert and Ramon on Reception who helped us with an issue with our room on arrival and sorted everything quickly and politely. We had a 3rd floor apartment that had amazing views of the beach and bay. The hotel is spotless and cleaners do an amazing job keeping this way. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever seen, huge choice and their freshly made breads are delicious. Breakfast area staff were so friendly and efficient clearing up and replacing supplies. It is in a perfect quiet location in Playa de Palma, nice restaurants close by and the hotel restaurant is very good also. Close to bus stop to Palma or by taxi (15-20 euros) beach directly across the road where beds are available to rent. Would highly recommend
