Second time we stayed here. It’s the most lovely boutique hotel, in the most beautiful mountain village of Deia. Lovely rooms (get a junior suite), and a real quality place. Peaceful and classy. Can’t wait to stay again

This is a very nice hotel in tiny Deia. It is very welcoming and well situated. The breakfast is amazing. I will say, we chose to stay in the junior suite. It is quite large with its own patio that then leads to one of the two pools. It is very private and most guests use the other pool. But, it meant missing out on the amazing views. The room was large with a connected office like area, nothing fancy. Parking is a challenge but that is Deia, lots of windy, narrow roads.

We booked this hotel as a couple for 2 nights to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Deià. The hotel in itself is very charming, the view from the swimming pool is absolutely beautiful, breakfast area also but we have encountered various problems during our short stay - none truly resolved. During our first evening we experienced a short circuit due to the reading lights in room number 5 which meant we had no electricity for the whole evening/night as the night watch man was unable to resolve the problem. The problem was resolved the next morning but occurred a second time the following evening. We did not complain as we understand these things can happen. Also problematic the second night, we had extremely noisy neighbours who partied and sounded like they were moving all the furniture around until 3am. We called the receptionist at 11.30pm asking for a solution to be found but nothing changed. We then called several times from midnight onwards without getting any reply at all. Thus, resulting in us having to go negotiate with the very noisy clients ourselves. No commercial gesture or formal apology was made about this issue on our departure date. Last but not least, when checking out we were particularly shocked by the lack of professionalism. We had prepaid via a platform that my company subsidises but the receptionist rudely affirmed that we had done the booking via Booking.com - “you will not teach me my job” and insisted we hadn’t paid. This is far from the first time that we have booked via this private platform, it has never been an issue with the dozens of other hotels we have visited. We tried explaining the way the subsidies work and proved payment had been made but I ended up having to make a personal phone call to my company in France for the disagreement to be settled. Again, no apology was made. Very much a shame, we do not recommend.

This was a quaint hotel in the pretty village of Deia. On driving in we had no idea that the hotel was up a very twisty narrow steep road & that parking was on the main road a few 100 yds down the hill. Not a major problem but if you’ve had a recent hip op it wasn’t ideal. It was difficult to navigate the car up to the hotel to find no parking & then a challenging descent. The hotel is rustic. we booked a junior suite which was very spacious with a large bathroom & great walk-in shower. Our balcony was a double with lovely views of the mountains. The only criticism I had with the room was that it was so large that the single air con unit struggled to cope in 33C heat to cool such a large space. The bed was huge & comfy. A fridge was good too. The small pools are inviting but the area around the pool & the sunbeds aren’t the most comfortable. Loved the honesty bar which included the most delicious Toblerone ice creams!!!! To die for! Everyone comments on the breakfast being superb. For us who had been travelling around we found it pretty average. Our previous hotel made fresh churros each day & served hot items which this hotel didn’t. The hotel is well located in the village. The car park is tight to get in & out for but was a welcome facility.
