#1 of 5 hotels in Valldemossa
The small, romantic and picturesque town of Valldemossa, in western Mallorca, is home to a spectacular and charming boutique hotel on a hill: the Hotel Valldemossa & Restaurant. Its stone walls encompass exclusive and welcoming rooms with fabulous views of the Royal Carthusian Monastery and Palma Bay, in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains. In our restaurant and café terrace, customers, whether they are guests at the hotel or not, can enjoy lovingly made, exquisite Mediterranean cuisine with international touches. All are prepared using our own and local produce. Everything we do is to ensure you enjoy a truly special stay in Valldemossa, the town Frédéric Chopin described as “the most beautiful place in the world”

For a relais & chateau hotel of this pricing I expect more service. They know we were going to the pool but left us to uncover the beds and put them on the chairs. We slept in a room underneath the reception ( sir Sancho) and from 7 o’clock on we heard people walking on our head. The breakfast was again poor service, busy in the kitchen instead of with the guests. Birds were eating the food on the table next to us and left, no one was there to clean it up. It took a very long time to prepare our eggs and they were ( eggs Benedict) watery and not prepared well. Overall a disappointing experience. When we mentioned this at the reception at checkout there was no answer what so ever…

Everything was great. The countryside views, to begin with, are beautiful. There is a spacious swimming pool and the hotel property is surrounded by trees and mountains. Food is delicious, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel also has a large parking lot right across the road. If you’re planning on working from here, however, the internet connection is rather weak.

We stayed a week at this lovely hotel. Our room had a great balcony overlooking the town and spectacular mountain scenery, and a bright spacious bathroom. The breakfast was good (choice of eggs and accompaniments and local pastries) and staff very friendly. Short walk into town (5 minutes) with lots of restaurants and shops. Hotel is great at organising taxis to get around. Small hotel so felt personal and intimate. We had a great massage in the spa. The swimming pool area a highlight with comfy sun loungers and surrounded by cypress and olive trees. Can’t wait to go back!

We just left Hotel Mirabo after a two night stay and are already dreaming of coming back. We stayed in standalone room 9 which is spacious and has gorgeous vistas of Valldemossa on the other side of the valley. We specially enjoyed the peace and quiet, outstanding service and personalised attention by Antonio. Highly recommended to disconnect and recharge. Shame it was too cold to use the gorgeous infinity pool and terrace, we will be returning in the summer months.
