It would be easy to be biased as it was my Wedding Day so surely the best day in the best place...ever? Valldemossa town itself is something else. Photo's cannot capture the depth and beauty of this place. And the hotel, a stones-throw outside of the town perched high over the valley but below the town and the monastery is...

Incredible views from the terrace gardens, wonderful food, peaceful setting. We dined there but did not stay; we'd love to go back and stay there. Within walking distance of the village, but hire a car to explore Mallorca.

We stayed at Hotel Valldemossa for two nights while on a group biking trip in Mallorca. The hotel is quite romantic looking with ivy covered walls, fountains, and moss covered walkways. It is nestled in the hillside overlooking terraced fields of goats, olive trees and an old monastery. The pool area is comfortable but note that the pool is unheated...

We stayed for 8 days in a junior suite which was most comfortable, with its own private courtyard and door onto a terrace with a spectacular view across the terraced monastery garden to the monastery itself. The staff were welcoming and helpful; reception provided us with a Mallorca guidebook (slightly out of date but it didn't matter) as well as...

Visiting Museo Chopin & G. Sand turned out to be a near nightmare if we hadn't escaped the hustle bustle of the village/town and made our way down to this delightful hotel. What an oasis. Breathtaking views, calm, tranquil. Friendly late lunch served with a smile. Highly recommendable.

From the minute we arrived all the staff were friendly and efficient and did everything to make our stay easy & relaxing.. Amazing views from the breakfast and dinner terraces too.. Our junior suite was comfortable with a private outdoor sitting area. TV reception was a little patchy though. Lovely lazy days by the pool with delicious tasty salads and...

Always memorable. As soon as I arrive, , it's relaxing. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The views from the terrace are amazing and the rooms are perfect. The restaurant is very accommodating in that if something isnot to your liking, they will change it to your taste. A wonderful experience.

I love Mallorca, who couldn't. It's a little jewel, beautiful beaches and coves, beautiful mountain views. The fact that it's easy to get around by car makes it even more accessible. The roads are great and well signposted. On this trip we decided to go to Valldemossa and what a good decision that was. We wanted to pick somewhere with...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The beauty of the corner of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains in Mallorca where the hotel Valldemossa is located is such that Frederic Chopin defined it as The Most Beautiful Place in the World. And he wasn't exaggerating. The surroundings chosen for this boutique Hotel, formerly heritage belonging to the Carthusian Monastery of Valldemossa, are like something out of a dream. ... more   less
