My wife and I are staying at this hotel for the fourth time. It takes a long time to describe all the benefits, but everything is fine. Very friendly staff. Delicious food in the restaurant (I recommend taking full board). Close to a clean and large beach, where there is always plenty of free space. No problem to visit Barcelona and Girona. The price is the best in terms of quality.
We spent a very good week in this hotel! The room we booked was semi frontal and the views were excellent! The staff were super friendly yet vigilant of people carrying out covid protocol. (Especially in buffet area) The Breakfast and dinners were varied and catered for all tastes. The rooms were cleaned daily and the beds made and towels changed.. As it was a weekend when we arrived parking was a bit of a nightmare. We found a space eventually and that is where it stayed as the hotel parking was full. Definately return.
Where to start... hotel is in good location to the beach and the lady taking drinks orders at meal times was lovely. And that's where the good bits end unfortunately... rooms are very outdated with holes in bedding and only one electrical outlet. Food is OK but everything was cold. Was made to feel very unwelcome by the Spanish guests staying there was very obvious they didn't like the English we got shooed away like dogs one evening very uncomfortable environment. Was not nice at all..
We decided to stay two days in Calella with a short notice on our way further south. Without looking for anything else but private bathroom, Wi-Fi access, breakfast and parking this hotel popped up. Location turned out to match our needs, good breakfast buffet and free Wi-Fi in the public areas. A hotel where you get what you pay for. Our interaction with the staff went smoothly - I guess a smile and a "Thank you" helps a lot in communication.
Unfortunately we are a dissapointed, we had 2 rooms and in both rooms the airconditioning did not work. finally after a unfriendly employee did some checking it worked. later in 1 room it did not work again. our friend did not sleep at all as it was too hot. the badroom is very small for big people. the bed is not cozy and the sheets are itchy. some positive things, the receptionists are very friendly and helpfull. breakfast and diner are not bad at all but no chocolate spread for bread at breakfast (minor detail). the capucino is more hot chocolate then coffee. location is good.
