Good stop ober for the Camino. Rooms are a decent size, clean with good beds. Food is plentiful and good quality/value. Helpful front desk. Breakfast is a bit meagre which is why I dropped a star. Very convenient location

Modern well-appointed hotel with a decent range of facilities. Right on the Camino and (at least in February) with a remarkable good value deal. Staff professional and - whilst it is corporate rather than homely - it's a good hotel.

I started walking the Camino in Sarria and stayed here my first night. After two flights and a taxi, this was a very welcoming and comfortable hotel. The room was spotlessly clean and the shower pressure outstanding. Breakfast buffet was excellent, with very good selection of a variety of food. Also, additional amenities such as razor, toothbrush, etc. were a...

Yews, the lobby is super, the front desk properly snooty, and the requisite restaurants populate the first floor but that's where it ends. The room is a let down, big time: dated, grimy, leaky faucets, and the AC not functioning. The accolades need to be parsed-look around Sarria, there are many alternatives.

After staying in many hostels and alburges along the camino we were lucky enough to spend two nights and take a break at the Alfonso IX ! Our room was perfect and the service was great. I felt the laundry service was very overpriced compared to other places we had used but it was nice to have clean clothing.

Helpful English speaking reception staff. Comfortable room with good beds, meagre toiletries but decent enough, pre prepared breakfast. The restaurant serves well priced good food in the evening. The downside for us was the constant noise for what seemed the whole night until a cockerel started crowing at around 5 a.m!

This was the start of our Camino and the hotel was good. We dined in the hotel as we could not find any restaurants around Sarria, and we decided to opt for the dinner here and we were not disappointed as it was lovely. Breakfast was ok.

We started the last leg of the Camino here and it was fine, clean and safe. They didnwhat they said they would do. Would stay again for easy access to restaurants over the bridge, they were fantastic and we ate there. The town is lovely and the breakfast was all you could eat which set us up for the day

A group of nine friends and family stayed in this hotel before embarking on the final stage of the Camino de Santiago. It was an excellent choice for our night's stay. The rooms were very comfortable and there was an excellent choice of food for breakfast. It is situated quite close to the Camino and the picturesque old part of...

This was a lovely hotel with a large room and clean. There are no views but it was quiet. You just have to go over the bridge outside the hotel to be in the main part of Sarria. Beds are a good size and very comfortable. Excellent buffet breakfast.
