A week of sheer relaxation, cordon bleu cuisine, beautiful views from a luxurious bedroom, topped off with a warm infinity pool looking over snow-capped alps. All supported by a team of the most friendly and helpful staff. We loved it.

Finally a place that manages to combine appeal to the youngest children and attentions to adults! We spent a long weekend at the Märchenhotel together with our 6 year-old, and we all came back relaxed and happy. From the moment you get in the hotel and your small ones meet the rabbit while you have a welcome drink and do...

The "Maerchen Hotel" in Braunwald is absolutely fantastic, especially but not limited to families. I have been visiting the hotel since I was a kid and it just keeps getting better and better. This time I visited with my wife and two girls (6 & 8) and all of us loved it. There are dozens of things to do for...

This was our first time in Märchenhotel Bellevue, and it certainly won't be our last. Given the heatwave in Zürich we booked a last-minute three night break in the mountains. We weren't too bothered about the location, and the Tripadvisor reviews for this hotel looked good, so that was good enough for us. Braunwald is a car-free village. From a...

Stayed here with many family members including 5 young cousins for a long weekend. The owners are really very nice, genuine, pay attention to many small details for both young and older. This is a hundred year old hotel that has been in the same family, for which they've updated the rooms to modern standards and have provided interesting focal...

We've been there several times: it is still the best place for children. The hotel provides a playground for children not seen elsewhere. Children are welcome: they may run around, make noise and play without anyone feeling disturbed. Irrespective of their focus on children, the hotel combines style, elegance and delicious meals with a good spa and stupendous swimming pool...

Great place for a family holiday. Everything had been thought of from hospitable and warm welcome by Mr and Mrs Vogel to free hot and cold beverages throughout the day. The (new) rooms are luxurious and cleverly designed with a separate 'kids corner' and winter garden with breathtaking views of the mountains. It felt more like a small apartment than...

We are Americans living in the UK. We stayed here in July (2014) with our two kids (4 & 5) and were so impressed with this hotel (besides our room, read on). If you have young kids, I highly recommend this place! The owners and very service oriented, even waiting tables themselves on occasion. Our kids loved all the kid...

We stayed there with our two kids (7 and 3) in August. Excellent facilities both indoor and outdoor for the kids. There is a nursery and a playpen internally for rainy days (and we had a couple!) while ample outdoor play space including a pirate ship and a giant chess board for he sunny Alpine weather. The highlight of the...
