Had a fantastic tasty carvery. Roast beef with huge home made Yorkshire pudding and fresh vegetables. Special mention for the cauliflower cheese and home made stuffing. We had our dog with us so booked a table in the bar which was tastefully decorated. The seating outside offers very picturesque views of widemouth bay.

Lovely stop in the hotel, food was delicious, great choices and good prices. Breakfast was fresh and quick. Staff were lovely and welcoming. I have stopped in the Widemouth area regularly for years, and would be happy to stop hear again.

Cannot fault the hotel, lovely room, on Saturday night after having a lovely meal we retired to the bar to sample the gin menu. Several young ladies provided excellent service doing their job perfectly at the end of their shift they were replaced by a young man who seemed to want to talk more to his friends than serve customers...

On Wednesday 12th April I booked a table for 17 family members to have a meal. From start to finish the whole meal was excellent. All the food was cooked fresh to order and a good evening was had by the whole family. The garden was excellent for the little ones to run around and play in and the hospitality of...

Went here last week for a lunch - food was excellent - play area for children excellent - only problem was the dining room smelt 'musty'. Cannot complain about the service, which was very good and helpful. Didn't stay at the Hotel itself, so cannot comment on that but everyone was friendly and helpful.

Went to Widemouth manor 3 nights on the spin as the quality was amazing. Stayed local to the hotel but not in it, so for comparison in price hands down this wins. Food is reasonably priced and the portion sizes are large (ribs are huge). The interior is upto date and fresh. With a children's play area and large football...

Not posh but I felt at home here which may give to much away about me, but the staff are great the food was good. One or more of the reason I liked this are that dogs are allowed in public bar and views are great, beer is good as well, nothing I would complain about if fact the opposite...

We ate at this hotel's restaurant three times this last week. With six adults, four children and two babies to accommodate, the restaurant did a stirling job. Food enjoyed by all. Lovely setting to watch the sun setting over the sea.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Ideally situated on the beautiful North Cornwall Coast, The Widemouth Manor Hotel is set within its own gardens, and stands high up near the cliffs that overlook Widemouth Bay near Bude. The impressive manor, acquired in June 2015 is now a family run hotel. The hotel is decorated in cool shades of blue, reflecting its close proximity to the beaches of Widemouth Bay. Refurbishment has begun on the hotel grounds providing a panoramic glass fronted view looking over Widemouth Bay and the ocean. The Manor offers dining in the main restaurant and conservatory over looking the gardens which has its own lounge bar. Whilst a more relaxed atmosphere can be enjoyed in the adjoining public bar where dogs are welcome. Adjoining terraces surround the building, wheelchair access is now provided to the rear terraces overlooking the views. The bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable.
