I do't know how this place got a 4 star review! The owner met us in filthy working clothes, the room was miserable and the bathroom filthy, especially the shower. We were staying there the night before a famiuly wedding and there wasn't even a decent mirror in which to check our outfits before we left.. . Couldn't wait to...

Had a lovely 3 night stay in the cottage, very polite host and a nice breakfast in the morning. Was a very nice cottage, will stay again in the future. The cottage is close to local things such as shop and pub and a short walk to town centre, the room was also very nice, was clean and a good...

Up in cannock Chase for business for 4 days. Stayed in Room 2, go back to the review from 2013. Review stated things were broken. Nothing has been repaired!!! Have had diarrhoea more firmer than the bed. Bathroom full of mould. Shame. Landlord is a nice guy. But sadly this will go down to a place to avoid in future,...

After hotel hopping round the country for 3 months, it was a relief to find a charming, homely, old school English B&B with some personality. Rooms are comfy and clean, Steve - the owner - makes a blinding breakfast and is as friendly and welcoming as it gets. Would recommend to absolutely everyone. Ant & Zoe Walker 2016.

As a professional touring musician I regularly stay in hotels and B&Bs, the quality of which varies. However, I had yet to encounter a more disappointing establishment than The Cottage B&B - from the bewildering, drunken greeting from the proprietor to the perpetually running shower in our room. My colleague and I had booked a twin room (look after the...

Been a few times now and the welcome and hospitality is excellent. Rooms are warm and cosy with very comfortable beds. Ok Could do with a bit more care in places but overall a great bnb. I do agree with one comment thats the toast in the morning is already buttered so rather soggy. But will definitely go back.
