Having read previous reviews was a bit dubious about staying here, but it was fine. Arrived about 7pm on a busy Friday evening but only took 10 mins to get checked in by a very helpful, cheerful young lady, Rebecca, who then went on to reserve us a table at the Hungry Horse (part of same complex) this was ready...

Stayed one night got there room seamed clean on first going in. Floor towel in bathroom had black marks on it. The tea and coffee was poor the spoons looked and felt like they hadn't been changed from previous clients. Not enough milk as not topped up from again previous people and the tray the cups stood on hasn't seen...

Haven't been in this place for years but gave a go because of having family visiting and we weren't disappointed we had Sunday roast and lamb dinners with large Yorkshires even the kids meals and ice cream was excellent, staff were attentive and pleasant.Would definitely recommend the Fernhurst and hope it's not too long before I return myself.

Hotel is average as are Holiday Inn Express, Travel Lodge and Premier Inn.. Room was clean, enough stuff to make 2 drinks.. Had to call staff from the pub to check in which was no big deal but if your expecting high levels of customer service then forget it there's nobody here to provide the service.. Let yourself in by...

We were heading to football match for location was perfect, It's not a four star as advertised, rooms are very basic, tea/coffee making facilities and that's it, shower curtain was covered in black spots, needs to be changed, beds very comfortable, breakfast in the Hungry Horse was nice but service from the staff is extremely slow on all levels, never...

Stopped at Fernhurst for one night end of July. After reading reviews requested a room at rear of hotel but one was not available. Stopped in room 29 at front. Very large room. Nice and clean. Traffic noise did not disturb us. The attached pub was typical Hungry Horse pub food. Freshly cooked and plentiful.

Well worth the money! Good clean accommodation and great facilities! The pub next door does great food that is also great value for money. The breakfast was not what we expected as when told about it you are told you can have what ever you like and unlimited drinks even etc and are lead to believe it's kind of a...
