We booked a civil ceremony and reception here. The staff were very friendly and helped us to organise the perfect wedding. We stayed the night before the wedding and enjoyed a meal at Gilbert's restaurant, the food was good. The day of the wedding the staff could not do enough to help. Our guests had booked rooms and all commented... More

we had a fantastic wedding celebration at Grims Dyke hotel. We and our guests stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel is beautiful, its surrounded by amazing gardens and there are some nice paths around to enjoy a walk. nothing else around it, so it was perfect for us and just what we wanted, to get away from... We stayed at the Grymsdyke Hotel in the middle of September. We had previously had to cancel our stay due to a family illness and the hotel were aware of this. As a result when we arrived we were upgraded to a suite which was a lovely surprise. However that is where the lovely weekend ended. We had booked a... More

We arrived to find our room was very below par and shabby with a window stuck open that was impossible to shut and from a safety perspective a real problem. We requested another room but we were informed it was fully booked, we then advised that I always update on Trip Advisor and they called back and said they potentially... More

Having stayed here before we decided to return again due to it's location. It is a beautiful location and the immediate grounds are very beautiful. We even had time to speak with the gardener when we all sat in the sun on Friday and she was very knowledgeable about the hotel which was really nice. We stayed in the garden... More

THe hotel gardens in the summer are terrific. in the sun its a lovely place to sit. just don't use their restaurant or meal facilities. the food portions were poor, the service was abrupt , the manager was unavailable. it seems they are catering for big functions but not bothered about other guests. Certainly they were not so bothered bout... More

Grim's Dyke is a beautiful hotel, full of charm and character. The only thing that detracts from its overall value is that it looks a little unloved and in need of attention. The exterior of the building is superb with the location, building and gardens being as you would wish them to be. Our bedroom however looked as tired as... More

We had the most perfect day on Saturday 29th August 2015 at the Grim's Dyke celebrating our wedding day! From start to finish we were so well looked after, and this began long before the actual day itself. Meetings, phone calls and emails ensured all of our wishes were considered and built into the planning, and this certainly paid off.... More

We celebrated our wedding at Grim's Dyke on the 3rd September 2015 and for us, it was an absolutely magical day. We live quite close to Grim's Dyke and feel quite fortunate to have such a spectacular venue on our door step. It's hard to believe that you're still in a London borough. The house in all it's grander is... More
