Me and a group of friends recently stopped at the Kings Arms for 1 night when visiting the area for a friends Birthday. We were treated like royalty from the moment we arrived and the staff could not do enough to help us including offering to take our bags upstairs when showing us the rooms. The rooms were basic which...

We stayed here on a Saturday night recently and glad we only paid a relatively low price (for Wilmslow). I think calling this a hotel is misleading and even a B&B at a strength. The rooms are clean and the staff nice but the rooms have not been refurbished properly for years and are very old school - the bathroom...

The staff here were friendly and welcoming and the room was as expected for the price. It is close to local ameneties and has ample parking. The only downside was there was an open mike night in the bar immediately below my room that was very loud and went on until 12am. There were then a few people who stayed...

Stayed here for 1 night due to getting flight from airport next day. Nice pub good selection of drinks and friendly staff. Cracking Thai restaurant attached to it , give it a go,Thumbs up. Room tidy could do with bigger TVs , a bit noisy if there's a band on.

Great local, honest pub. This place is quirky (hats everywhere, sweeties on the bar). It has an excellent Thai restaurant attached, has great friendly staff (been in the same family for years), plays great music (recorded & live), shows loads of sport / football & serves good beer! I just had my (surprise) 50th party there & James & Helen...

Had very comfortable night. Room clean and quiet considering on main road. James the owner was pleasant and helpful, offered breakfast but as I was leaving early didn't require it.. Tea and coffee in room. There is an excellent Thai restaurant attached to the pub/hotel.

Staying at a local b&b prior to holiday travel, and this pub was advertised as good food.. Yes it was, nice clean and warm cosy pub. Lovely local pies served hot and quick service. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Also do b&b which could be a plan for our nxt holiday. Only a short journey to Manchester airport

Rather cramped rooms (we had no 4). But ok for an overnighter. Could do with double glazing - can't believe it isn't so - but no particular noise and I slept well. Rather low key welcome in afternoon but made up for by very helpful and cheerful owner in the morning and excellent cooked breakfast. Regulars seem to look a...

This could be a decent pub. You can sit and enjoy your own company but the locals always appear a bit parochial. Beer is variable with guest ales but decent when I visited this week. You get the impression it's just an income for the owners and not a passion.

Terrible place. Shabby, noisy room. Wanted to sleep but the music in the bar kept me awake. Thai restaurant is excellent but avoid the B&B at all costs. I was the only one staying here which says a lot. Staff not welcoming as others have said.

Thank Chris B
