We had the perfect wedding at The Stanneylands Hotel. Eamonn and his team were absolutely amazing - nothing was too much trouble. They pulled out the stops to accommodate numerous overseas guests. The inevitable planning challenges were met with professionalism and vigour, so the day went off perfectly. We married in style at a wonderful location. I honestly can not...

This was part of an arranged deal that included airport parking so we didn't choose it. If you are going to be away early there are issues to resolve before settling into your room. Ours had a door leading to another room which was poorly insulated. The neighbouring occupants had a normal conversation until well after 1 a.m. We left...

Thank you for your comments following your recent stay at Stanneylands. I am sorry you were not satisfied with your bedroom during your stay. The room you occupied is one of only two sets of inter-connecting rooms among the 54 rooms we have at the hotel. These rooms are regularly occupied in a busy hotel and are very comfortable for...

Firstly, the lunch menu is a giveaway...so cheap for wonderful ingredients cooked to perfection. The menu choice is thankfully small ensuring the freshest ingredients rather than a typical hotel menu suggesting otherwise. The ambience is nice and the panelled dining room oozes class. The restaurant has from memory 2 ( could be 3 AA rosettes ) and it is easy...

We held our Annual Dinner on Saturday night which was a resounding success. The service and quality of food provided by the team at Stanneylands was excellent. We supported this with our own excellent entertainment (Elvis was King again for the night). The whole experience was first class and we would strongly recommend Stanneylands for this kind of event. As...

Stayed here for 2 nights for business. Check in was easy Room 118 - crack in plaster in ceiling a tear in net curtain uncomfortable bed closest to door - the one near window was much better. Other than that the room was fine with a great shower! One of the best water pressures I've ever had in a hotel....

We stayed at this hotel because the hotels actually at Manchester airport were largely booked. The low rate and proximity to the airport tempted us to book this hotel. We don't regret our booking, it was as expected reasonable value and close to the airport for our morning flight. I would actually have rated this hotel higher, but I have...

The Stannylands hotel is charming. It looks very much like an old fashioned rambling country house in a lovely setting tucked away in Wilmslow. We used this hotel to overnight before our flight from Manchester airport partly because it has on site long term parking and the price was very reasonable and partly because it looked appealing. Check in was...

Stayed here prior to going on holiday. Car parking included in the cost as was transfer to and from airport. The staff were very pleasant but the hotel is tired and the rooms a bit dated. Beds are poor with spings poking through mattress. The only reason I would stay here is the link to the airport.

The is an idea wedding or other event hotel. I love the hotel interiors, especially the panelled dining rooms but sadly, there's a lot left to be desired, particularly in relation to service. Car parking here is an absolute nightmare. We booked in advance to stay overnight Saturday following a private function at the hotel. Our room was perfectly pleasant....

This hotel was booked for me, as I was travelling on business. Being new to the area, I was excited and intrigued to see what the hotel and location would be like and I must say it was definitely worth the stay! When I arrived, the receptionist was very welcoming and I was checked in quickly and efficiently. Everything I...
