St. John's, Canada

Business trip, hotel is well located right on the Trans Canada Highway. Friendly staff, good rooms, clean. Bar area is way too small (6 stools) for a hotel of this size so if you want to socialize you'll need to go out. All and all it was a good place to stay, I'd return in the future.

The Clarenville is a very nice inn with modern amenities and helpful, friendly and professional staff. The restaurant offers a wide selection of foods that would appeal to all palates and is served by friendly wait staff.

We always stay at the Clarenville Inn whenever we're near town. It is always a clean comfortable room that has modern amenities. The restaurant is fabulous and the cooking tastes just like home made. Definitely recommend this to anyone needing a room in the Clarenville area.

We were traveling with seniors and decided that Clarenville would be a convenient stop on our trip across the province. The hotel was okay and we recommend that you eat at the hotel as there isn't much choice to eat elsewhere.

Arriving in Newfoundland after Labor Day, without booking accommodations in advance, we found many places around Bonavista and Trinity had closed or were closing for the season, particularly B&B's, so we decided to stay at the Inn at Clarenville and use it as our base for visiting the Bonavista Peninsula It was a good choice as were able to visit...

nice clean rooms, good prices, clean, friendly staff, restaurant in hotel. Just what we needed. Restaurant was a little noisy with chairs that screeched loudly every time someone moved them, but other than that, good food. Sounds fussy I know, but it you had to listen to it during an entire meal, you'd know what I mean.

I recently stayed at Clarenville Inn for one night while travelling for business. The first afternoon a maid walked in my room unannounced. She said she had forgotten to put towels in when she cleaned the room earlier. Fine, but she should have checked with reception to see if someone checked in or at least knocked. For the rest of...

rooms were fine. they had a few tour groups in and out while we were there which made dining a big stressful for us and for staff. there was a nice pool which we did not have time to try out. our room had a great view of trans Canada highway and the parking lot.... :-(

This is a great place to break up the drive as you are heading to St. John's. The rooms are very nice and modern with lots of charging outlets. Don't be surprised when the lights go on on your balcony, they will turn off at 10:30 p.m. The breakfast was good and away we went!
