Good hotel, nice location close to beaches, mall, food, etc. I stay every year! Pet friendly. Nice staff. Give it a chance and stay you will not be disappointed. Rooms are quiet so you will sleep peacefully.

Guest welcoming and service was horrible. Very rude and not accommodating. Couldn't check in at check in time. Given a room right next to construction on the hotel and not notified of the construction. Got a rude awakening early in the morning with jack hammers right next door. The restaurant was the only good thing there. Their food, drinks and staff are on point.

The bathroom was pretty bad. It needs to be remodeled as well as the lighting in the room. Roches were visible at night time. I asked to be changed to another room but I was told that all the rooms were the same. My 91 years old mom did not fine the room up to the amount charged.

Ok it is a little bit tired. But it seems like an amazing upgrade has made seem resorty and secluded even though it’s off the busy highway. Super convenient airport. Nice restaurant. Quiet! I would definitely return.

This hotel is located in a nice location off the main roads and has a one way driving direction for entrance, parking and then exit. It’s close to a lot of restaurants and shopping and crash boat beach (a very popular and crowded place). It has two very nice pools and a full basketball court that is maintained with nets on hoops, etc. The disappointment we experienced with el faro was the room itself. The entire floor is tile. That’s fine, except then you get to feel every particle of sand on your bare feet as you walk. Sand comes with the territory when you visit beaches. Carpet is a better alternative for both bare feet and cleaning up sand since a vacuum can be used more effectively. Along with that, the bathroom seemed unfinished since there was no toilet paper roll spool, nor any towel racks for hanging up your towels. There was a rack outside the bathroom but that’s random, you hang towels in the bathroom to dry. And finally, there’sa fridge in the room but no microwave. So you can save your leftover food and keep it cold, but then you’ll need to also eat it cold. Rooms with a fridge should also have a small microwave so you can reheat food if needed. Overall, I give hotel el faro a 3 because it is a nice location and good amenities, but for the price it needs to improve the rooms themselves.…

Excellent food and comfortable beds.The pool wats a bit cold, but we went in the morning. The grounds are gorgeous with beautiful murals and a little plane to take pics with. I definitely would stay here again.
