We (my gf, her daughter and I) had a very positive experience staying at MangoFish. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something low key with the feel of being and living like a local. We stayed in the downstairs guesthouses. If you get the top floor, you get the balcony and the parking spot! The host was helpful...

We stayed at Mango Fish right after it changed ownership, but communication with both the owner and property manager was spot-on. The guesthouse is well-located, with the market just down the street, close to the airport, and a good midway point between the beaches on either end of the island. It's just a short drive to "downtown," as well. We...

This review has been overdue for sometime now. My husband and I stayed at the Mango Fish Guesthouse before we moved away from the main island of PR. Fred and Lori made our trip very easy to manage and memorable. The guesthouse is quaint and has everything you need for the perfect vacation. Fred's tour of all the best beaches...

Was a great choice for a place to stay. The room was quite comfortable and Lori & Fred were very hospitable. The location is very handy to both town and the beach. The extras (beach towels, cooler, beach chairs) were handy and the coffee maker in the room was wonderful.

Upon arrival, it looked like the property was closed. There was a "For Sale" sign in front. We called out to see if anyone was around. Finally, Fred came outside. He knew nothing about our reservation. Unfortunately, there was no communication between him and Lori. She was away in the States taking care of her mother. This was unfortunate, however,...

Sometimes there are 'perfect storms' in Culebra (and life) and, unfortunately, there seem to be some misrepresentations of our business and approach to guests, somethings are out of our control: Culebra had an island-wide Internet outage for 10+ days prior, during and after your visit, affecting Fred's ability to check on your reservation (did you have a mobile device that...

My husband and I came for a week of much needed rest and relaxation, and that is exactly what we got! Lori and Fred are lovely......Fred took us for a tour of the island, which was so helpful. Lori was so warm and caring, and provided us with so much information about places to see and places to eat. We...

We went to Culebra for the quiet beaches, scuba diving, snorkeling, and natural beauty. We found the people there to be kind, happy, and gracious with their time. Our underwater experiences lived up to our expectations. The history and the people who shared the island's story exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I have stayed twice at Mango Fish. The first time at the Casita & last time in the Palometa guest room. We loved both of them!! The casita is larger & the Paolmeta is really cozy!! We absolutely love the owners Fred & Lori. They are both beautiful people. They take you on as family & show...

My husband, 9-year-old son, and I absolutely LOVED staying here! We didn't want to leave! It's a beautiful little guest house with a lovely, breezy porch where I enjoyed sipping tea and reading. The property is sweet, with lots of trees, bushes, and tropical flowers. The decor is simple and tastefully whimsical with a beachy vibe. We really appreciated all...
