It was like an adult hostel with private rooms, with extra touches. Extra touches were the fresh baked goods, coffee, book exchange, clean sitting room, beach towels, two outside back seating area, front rinse off area.

The great hospitality of Susan, the guesthouse owner, has been mentioned in several reviews already and this is one more to add to the list. Susan is a very helpful, warm personality and extremely accommodating and that really trumps any other flaws that there might...More

May is not considered high season, so the ferry is a good option. You can book a taxi in advance with Al (787-590-9001) for around $60 for 2 people. Ferry tickets for Culebra are purchased on the day you travel. The 9am ferry is the busiest ferry and often sells out with many people in line (even if they got in line at 6am), so I recommend travelers come to Culebra on the 3pm ferry instead. There is nothing to do at the ferry dock, so it is better to plan something enjoyable for the morning and to go to the ferry dock after lunch.
