Nice rooms and a great breakfast on Sunday at Nightingales (round corner). For a similar price you can stay at Nightingales though, which has a nicer room and nicer view. Other than Sunday breakfast is cook your own. The location is great for the Broke wineries close to all the good ones like Whispering Brook and Margans.

What a find! From our arrival Friday evening to our Sunday morning departure we fell in love with Pemberley Grange. Our lovely hosts Jane and Ross made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The room was fantastic - tastefully appointed and had everything we needed for a weekend escape. The view was so beautiful (see photos)...

This was the third year in a row we have stayed at this resort, as we attend on a yearly basis to partake in a winery luncheon nearby. On the first year, we were supplied with a breakfast of 4 eggs, bacon, bread (toast) and fruit and juice. Second year, the eggs and bacon were gone, still with bread, croissants...

The owners were very nice. Yes, the bathroom and kitchen are outdated but the view you wake up to is phenomenal! The bed was comfortable, the room was private and one move of opening the door, you are outside overlooking the outback! Plenty of breakfast, didn't even get to finish it. May need some new BBQ's outside. The bathroom in...

Fergusons is a in a lovely location with stunning views of yellow rock across paddocks and vines. The owners had only just taken over and were still settling in. Right amount of friendliness but distance for a couples weekend away. Cabins set away from the house which was a good set up. A little work needed on ensuring the room...

We booked here for a weekend getaway. Unsure who gave Ferguson's 4 star. We had a few gripes with the cleanliness of the room - the bath was dirty and there was dust throughout. The room needed basic maintenance and the kitchen and bathroom are very dated. The breakfast that was left, although nice, was insufficient for two for the...

We stayed at Fergusons 30 years after our first visit to the Hunter. Fergusons have 6 luxury units on their 35 acres of farmland - quiet, great walks and it was simply the best! We had 3 nights and everything was simply perfect. Large top quality apartment/cabin with great views, excellent clean, spacious bathroom (also with views!), wonderful compact kitchenette,...

Spent a few days recently exploring the hunter valley and based ourselves at Fergusons. The cabin style accommodation was great for our small family took our own portable cot. Location is a bit away from the main winery region but it is only a short drive. There are olive groves and wineries surrounding Fergusons and the restaurant at nightingales is...

Were going to chocolate festival at Hunter Valley gardens but could not get there till Saturday morning. Most places in Hunter have 2 night minimum over the weekend and with it also being in the middle of school holidays, the Hunter was practically booked out. We rang Ferguson's on the way up early Saturday morning and they agreed for us...

We stayed at Fergusons on a concert weekend trip. The management were very welcoming and friendly, and left us to our own devices which suited us well. The room was beautifully decorated, with a comfortable sofa, very good quality bed (I'm picky about beds), and great shower. The breakfast was more than adequate for the two of us, and the...
