In addition to the expected kettle, tea and coffee Motel Childers had a microwave. This is great, if you're staying a couple of nights and just want a night in. Great for microwave popcorn! Rooms were clean. Service was lovely. Next time I'll stop in at the restaurant.

This motel is better than average - I'd say good. It is in a very convenient position in the main street of the town. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The motel has been upgraded since I stayed there two years ago.

This was just an overnight stay on our way through to the Gold Coast. Check in was quick and simple. The motel is a bit dated but clean and the room was a good size. Bed comfortable and a good size TV. Good location in town. Chinese restaurant attached.

I stay at Motel Childers every time I have drive down to Brisbane with the kids. Normally just me and my 5 year old and 2 year old. The drive is a bit long to do in one day for the kids. The motel is basic but it is clean and central. They don't advertise as anything else. It's all...

Overpriced for a dated motel. No face washers or shampoo and conditioner. Have stayed in five stars for cheaper. The noise of highway traffic annoying. Found the Chinese restaurant next door convenient for dinner.

My mother and I stayed in rooms side by side and both our rooms were spotlessly clean and quiet, beds were really comfortable, we were quite impressed with the real tea leaves and tea pot (as opposed to getting teabags!) and real milk in the fridge. The bathrooms are large and look like they have been updated (new tiles in...

I booked this motel as it was the most inexpensive in Childers and situated right in town, as well as having an on site Chinese restaurant. I was given room 15. I was not expecting much but was very pleasantly surprised with my room. It was clean with what seemed like brand new, very comfortable beds, with crisp white sheets....

I have stayed here before and find it quite handy as it is in town. Room is clean and tidy and has free wifi. Flat screen TV and fridge. Very quiet. Dont eat in the chinese restaurant that is next door. I have eaten here twice and not to my liking.

Paid $130 dollars for a half star room experience that was really bad. One terrible pillow with no spares. Not enough room to park my car. Owners dog barks everytime you move outside the room. Rock hard bed with limited room lighting options. The fan comes on with the bathroom light making a night pee an enlightening experience for all...

The rooms are quite dated but are very clean, comfortable and spacious. Motel is well located for walking around town. We walked back to the Nut Van then up and down the main street, having a couple of drinks in one of the pubs. Would definitely stay again.
