The building and gardens were beautiful but the food was a let down. The food as very over priced, the variety as very small, it was nothing special. The set menu included a glass of white wine, but several of our guests don't drink and asked for a soft drink and were charged extra for it. You would think that...

Unfortunately we only stayed one night here, as it's a great base for exploring the Yarra Valley. To start with, all staff we encountered were really friendly, from check in, to the restaurant through to cleaning. The rooms are beautifully set up , a decent size, and ideal for a relaxing stay

Having arrived two hours early we were warmly greeted and advised our room was not quite ready. The staff looked after our luggage and had it taken to the room. We could wait in the sitting room or as we decided to wait in the café for lunch. The whole homestead with it's multitude of rooms was all decorated in...

Large well equipped rooms decorated appropriately for the historical hotel that it is. Very impressive bathroom, well supplied with everything you would expect. The staff were excellent without exception. Lovely communal areas but it would have been nice to a bar to relax in and have a drink. Very quiet and peaceful when I was there. It was a Sunday night....

Peaceful oldy worldy charm, pleasant rooms with large bathrooms. The end suites are the best as you get the added bonus of a downhill countryside view, the other rooms look across the lawn at each other. Informal breakfast room with good flexible choice of food. Service slow on the first morning (lacked a 'maitre'd'/someone overseeing service) we were served 15" apart...not...

We bought a packaged stay overnight at the Chateau Yering Hotel + Go Wild Balloon next early morning and paid $1,168 including $98 dinner and breakfast. Ballooning is a good experience, but we were not happy with our stay and dinner at the Chateau for the high price charged. The hotel's facilities are quite old. We had to ask to...

In the heart of the Yarra Valley lies a delightful gem. Wonderful service, lovely accommodation with the scrumptious and elegant Eleanor's restaurant and winery on site. An easy drive from the city and easy access to other Yarra Valley attractions. A great way to celebrate something special or just indulge!

Amazing place made so mainly by the 5 star treatment you receive from the staff. From the moment we arrived until we left the next morning the service was first class. Rooms are renovated beautifully i was impressed with actual real coffee and plunger in rooms instead of instant. Meals are nice you can pay $98 for 3 course meal...
