Great welcome after our earthquake experience in Wellington. This is a lovely place to unwind in super surroundings. We enjoyed the evening meal which was nicely presented and a lovely breakfast. Martinborough is compact enough to take a leisurely cycle around the wineries. Visit Poppies for their lunch and tasting.

Underfloor heating in tiled bathroom not working. Rubbish under the kitchen sink had not been emptied from the previous clients. Duvet covers need dry cleaning, very grubby. Couldn't get the radio to work. The unit was getting very tired, needs an update.

Staying at Peppers is an amazing experience. The rooms are beautiful and the surroundings are amazing. Just the best place to stay on an ordinary weekend. But our weekend was no ordinary weekend. We had the Kaikoura Earthquake occur at midnight Sunday evening. There was no attempt by management to come around an assure guests that hey were Ok. We...

We had a delicious dinner and breakfast. The accommodation was beautiful with great amenities. (bed a little firm!) Outstanding garden settings and the staff were wonderful. Set us up for a great day playing golf at Martinborough golf course.

We were only here for two nights, but it was very relaxing. Lovely spacious, and well appointed room. Fabulous big bathroom. Had a meal in the restaurant - surroundings were wonderful, but the food was a bit average if I'm really honest Would stay again though.

Loved our stay, wish it was 2 nights not one. The key reason for our visit was a wedding anniversary, but mostly we wanted a lovely night away relaxing and winding from busy work/parent lives. And Peppers delivered! Accommodation outstanding. I loved all the extras in the room that you could purchase, like snacks, soft drinks and wine (and even...

We have stayed plenty of times over the years and it is fair to say that a little bit of maintenance is overdue. Noting that is the end of the world but things are all looking just a bit tired. Breakfast is included however it is a buffet style and not that great, please remove the birds nest from within...

Would highly recommend but if you want to watch DVD's on a wet day the DVD player seems to have a problem. This is not the first time we have incurred this problem at Parehua. Regardless of this we will definitely come back. The food, accommodation, location and cleanliness is of a very high standard.

My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the service provided by the onsite manager. He is a credit to the business and his customer service was superb. My only grumble would be the sleep quality as the pillows were not overly great and there needed to be 1-2 more blankets on the bed or perhaps even a duvet. It...

Who knew this place was just over the hill from wellington! Fabulous-ness all round. Great cottage and delicious food. $59pp for sumptuous 3 course meal. If had more time would have indulged in a massage at the spa. Only let down was the weather!
