What a place! Great comfy room's,great friendly staff and fabulous food and drink. And not many places you will ever stand in that boasts, it fell off the back off a truck and lived to tell the story! This one did! Go visit. Now!

We spent one night here in a comfortable, clean and attractive room. However, we felt the hotel was well overpriced for the level of service. $165 for a double room seemed too much given that breakfast was not included, wifi was an added extra and TV channels were limited. More disappointing however, was our dinner, especially in view of favourable...

We stayed at The White Swan after completing a four day bike trip from Wellington over the Rimutakas and into the Wairarapa. The rooms in the hotel all have a theme and are tastefully decorated. They are also incredibly spacious. The group really enjoyed the stay here - a bit of luxury at the end of the trip. We also...

The staff at the hotel were all very helpful and welcoming. The room was large clean and well appointed. We had a three course meal which was excellent equal to any other meal we have had when dinning out. We would definately return.

We stayed here overnight on our way home from the South Island. Great choice. Food to die for in the restaurant and lovely garden studio overlooking pleasant gardens. Top chef in residence! Staff very friendly and welcoming.

We stopped here for dinner on our way to Wellington and had a great meal. Gourmet burgers and salads. The staff were attentive, the venue is lovely but we did think the prices for the main meals (other than burgers) was a bit high. The food we had tasted very good and I would recommend to others but beware of...

In late December we stayed night in the George Suite at the White Swan Hotel in Greytown, NZ. We were just blown away by the accommodation. The suite had a very large lounge (we were told it was the second largest of the suites) a separate bedroom and a huge bathroom. All was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. Absolute luxury....

We used a grabone voucher that included a meal and a night in one of the premium rooms. The rooms are huge and furnished in a theme - very nice and no feeling of being closed in a hotel room! The meal was lovely. The service was friendly and casual. We really enjoyed it and will look for a repeat....

Three of us decided to travel from Wellington to Greytown for New Year's Day lunch. We stopped at the White Swan and were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was very busy with people sitting both inside and outside. We didn't have long to wait before our meal arrived. Everyone was very friendly. The place is clean and tidy and staff very...
