A truly beautiful place, we stayed for one night in the Laurel Room. Our hostess was full of excellent advice, she was friendly and presented us with the best breakfast in the morning. We definitely recommend the cooked breakfast, wonder through the grounds and enjoy!

Paheke is absolutely beautiful and is my number one recommendation. I have stayed in hotels over the world but this was by far the best atmosphere and host. The lady was amazing and let myself and three bridesmaids check in early so we could get ready here, we had our beautiful photos in the garden and overall the rooms are...

With our children grown up and all away for Christmas, it was time for us to share a Christmas on our own. We stayed 5 nights over the Christmas break in Paheke's 'Laurel' room. Beautiful 150 year old house, very cleverly extended with the new part perfectly matching the original, historic, house. Bed was a little hard but we like...

As we drove up the driveway through the beautiful garden and over the picturesque little bridge to the homestead my husband and I were enchanted. We were happy to have discovered a charming country haven close to Kaikohe. Juen is as much a treasure as her beautiful establishment. She is a fabulous host and prepared us the most delicious and...

I stayed here with two colleagues recently, mostly due to the fact there was no accommodation at Paihia available. I wrote an e-mail to Juen and was replied to immediately confirmation. We arrived late in the evening and Juen was ready and waiting to receive us. She happily showed us to our wonderful rooms and helped us settle in. The...

Lovely b&b. Made very welcome by Juen. We stayed for 4 nights in the balcony room which was large in size, bright and airy. Breakfast each morning was superb, with a large choice. Especially loved the local honey. Juen keeps the house in great order, and we had some lovely chats about Paheke, her (and her late husbands) personal contribution...

From the moment we turned off the highway we were enveloped in the mystique, charm and history of the Far North, an experience nurtured by our discerning hosts. Paheke is a jewel in the crown on the tourist highway leading North from Auckland and guarantees the traveller a rich rewarding taste of Northland hospitality. The room was prepared exquisitely and...

This is a beautiful B&B 15 minutes inland from Keri Keri near Kaikohe. The location may be the reason the cost of the rooms is very reasonable. We were upgraded to the fantastic Balcony Room which is a large spotlessly clean room with lovely views over the garden, 2 balconies, bath and shower. The bed is comfortable. The house is...

We spent two nights here as we started our month's stay in New Zealand. The Balcony room was luxuriously comfortable, breakfasts were delicious, and Juen and her daughter-in-law were welcoming, warm, and helpful. They were both respectful of our privacy and open to sharing their knowledge. The location was convenient to exploring both the Northlands East coast and the Kauri...
