A charming property, made so by its beautifully decorated spaces and the lovely hosts Jim and Lin. We stayed here one night on our honeymoon (we're from the UK) and were so glad to find such a welcoming and comfortable home for the night. The highlight was the freshly made breakfast, served in their plush dining space with all the...

We stayed in the Queen Elizabeth room which was roomy, comfortable, and furnished nicely. An added bonus was the cozy sitting area on the same floor with the bedrooms. There are four rooms for guests, and we often met the others in this area and talked about our plans for the day. There is a small fridge there in which...

A lovely historic house near downtown Roanoke. The rooms are all quite large and quiet. There is a nice sitting area upstairs and rooms downstairs to lounge in as well. There is a hot, cooked breakfast, and the hosts were very accommodating to my dietary needs (gluten free vegan).

This B&B is very beautiful. Our room was comfortable but the bathroom was small. There were items to take a mineral or bubble bath but the tub overflow was only 3 inches from the bottom. Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining room and was good. There are no televisions in the rooms if that is important to you.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. We appreciate all comments. Bathrooms are actually quite large considering they were designed in the 1900's . I'm unsure about the overflow in the tub....there are none.....

A friendly establishment, furnished with antiques. No hot drinks in the bedroom, but tea / coffee (and a slice of homemade cake) were offered in the sitting room on arrival. The bathroom was a little old-fashioned, but in keeping with the house, and everywhere was clean. Our best memory of it is the communal breakfast - a tasty, well-presented meal,...

My wife and I stayed at King George Inn 9/23 through 9/25 to accommodate meeting some old friends and attending the Va Tech football game that weekend. This visit marked the third time over the past four years that we've stayed at the King George. As the other two visits, our stay this time could not have been better. The...

We stayed here for just one night while touring in the area. We arrived quite tired after driving through a scary thunderstorm and were very grateful for the tea and homemade cake provided by Jim and Lynn. It was beautifully served in real china cups. Our room was huge and spotlessly clean and we enjoyed a restful night's sleep after...

We were greeted at the door by Jim and introduced ourselves. Seconds later he asked us what our names were, We were then taken to our room where about the only thing we were told was how to operate the A/C. No tour of the house, no mention of anything else. We even had to ask what time breakfast was....

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. As you are very soft spoken, I'm sure Jim didn't hear your name clearly; naturally we want to make sure we have you in the right room. As this was a very busy Virginia Tech weekend, with guests seemingly checking in at the same time, Jim was pretty busy. I'm...
