Pretty much what you get for the price being cheap. Staff was not friendly. The key did not work to get into the room. The room smelt like cigarettes. The bed sheets were burnt with holes. The shower was burnt.. a lot of the furniture was broken. I could not wait to get out of there. Please spend a little...

If you are a connoisseur of the very bad, then this is the place for you. First, the plus: The reception guy was friendly. It's $50 a night. OK, let's get going on the minus: The room reeked so strongly of stale fag smoke that it was like a physical presence. In fact, I think the smoke is holding the...

We ended up leaving and the owner was arguing with me to give me a refund, the rooms are in horrible condition and there were roaches all over the room and bugs in the bed. The place was infested and the owner doesn't seem to even care. Very poor condition and disgusting.

This is your basic, 60's style motel. It is convenient to I-95, but it needs a lot of TLC to make it a place you would want to stay for long. It was a good, one night, sleep and go kind of place. The staff was friendly and wanted the stay to be good. However, being an old property, and...

Staff was friendly and hotel was very quiet. Also, new restaurant had very good food. Hotel stay was very reasonable.

During a return trip home from Florida with a friend, I found myself tiring and in need of a respite. Considering options, The Skippers Virginia Econo Lodge seemed to be a safe and reasonable bet as I had stayed there previously a number of years ago during jaunts to and fro from Florida. My expectations are modest as I realize...

This is is the worst motel ever. We stayed there as we travel with our dog. They have alot of nerve charging $10.00 extra for a pet. My dog was by far cleaner than anything in the room. We slept with our clothes on. I had to clean the toilet before we could use it. WIFI was unusable.

Spent a night here while coming home on I-95. With a coupon available from any rest stop or travel plaza -- including the one on this exit -- I paid $43 grand total for two persons. Motel was right off the interstate, on the side opposite to the travel plaza that has a fast food restaurant. The latter was the...

This used to be a really nice place to stay until they changed owners and franchises. Used to be an American Motel (franchise not nationality). it is one of the few places you can stay with your pet, but like others have stated, phone didn't work - had to go to front desk to get a replacement. Wasn't the cleanest...

As per the title, the room was average, and the bed was OK, but what caught my attention in the lobby was some sort of odor. The odd smell seemed to be coming from an area behind the front desk... maybe the room behind that, but it permeated the lobby. Maybe not a problem at night, but when breakfast is...
