We stayed at the cabin during the Fourth of July long weekend. It was a great experience. The inn is a renovated historic house that has been with the same family for many generations. It is on an active farm, and walking around the grounds was very pleasant (can see the some of the different farm animals and picturesque natural...

Superb renovation to the historic home, first rate taste and style, gorgeous scenery outside, peaceful, tranquil, beautiful. Not your average B&B. The area is full of activities, from hiking ol' Rag and visiting vineyards, to antiquing and visiting the whiskey distillery next door. Absolutely wonderful.

Our second stay at The Inn at Mount Vernon Farm. We have stayed at many B&Bs in Virginia and this one ranks right at the top. The accomodations are first class and the service is even better! Definitely worth a visit. We have stayed in both the Owner's Suite (main house) and the Cabin.

My wife and I were looking for a getaway near DC for us to enjoy after visits to some of our adult children there...and we found it. No need to repeat what others have said but merely to endorse every positive comment without reservation. Cliff Miller, the owner, and hostesses Lillian and Joyce did everything they could to make our...

This inn is situated in the beautiful rural Virginia countryside about an hour southwest of Washington DC. It has been immaculately restored by the owner and family that have owned this property for 6 generations. The bedrooms are each equipped with new, modern bathrooms and temperature controls. They are beautifully decorated with antiques and family portraits. Breakfast was delicious with...

My husband and I just returned from our first stay at The Inn at Mount Vernon Farm. We could not have been happier with our choice or more impressed with the level of service we experienced. Upon arrival, Jackie greeted us with a smile, showed us our room, and because we had arrived earlier than most guests, gave us a...

A winter stay, with a surprise snow storm, during the week, we were the only ones staying at the Inn for the two nights we were there...We had a room with a working fireplace, the fire was laid, and Lillian, the hostess, showed us how to warm the flue and light it. We also enjoyed a fire in the living...

We had a lovely night at this charming Inn. It is perfectly decorated in authentic hunt country antiques. Most notably, it was spotlessly clean and perfectly appointed. The fireplace was even already laid for us to use. No detail was left undone. Breakfast was ample and delicious. We will be back.

My (now) wife and I got married here in October. To say it was perfect would barely begin to capture the high level of hospitality and excellence we experienced during our three days on the farm. We stayed in the cozy cabin, while our family stayed in the Inn. We were married on the lawn out front of the Inn...

Booked and confirmed a room to enjoy the fall foliage. Two days later got a phone call with a ridiculous story about how we must have booked in that split second a groom was changing rooms and how they would not be able to accommodate us. We actually looked for other options over a several hours period, while the room...
