We are seasoned KOA'ers, so we know what to expect. Let's just say that KOA hdqtrs should look into this place. Bathrooms filthy, things are not well marked. We were way in the back last cabin which was K4. Was suppose to have Tv, NOPE. The grounds were over grown around us, huge tree roots sticking up out of ground...

RaTa6, I'm very sorry that you found your visit with us to be a less-than the stellar experience that we strive for. We always encourage our campers to let us know if they encounter a problem during their stay, including if the bathrooms require attention. You will be pleased to hear that we are expecting KOA's Field Service Representatives at...

Stayed four days. These folks spend a lot of time keeping the grass manicured and the grounds clean. The friendly ducks are an added attraction. Level gravel lots on the lake with full hookups. Good WIFI.

My husband and 4 yr old son camped here for 3 nights in a tent! It is a quiet peaceful place. The staff is very nice!!! Our son had a blast playing in the creek and we caught a lot of fish in the pond. Be sure to take a walk and see the view at the top of the...

Thanks go out to the Zipser Family for another wonderful night stay. The staff were very accommodating, the park looks great, and we had a very peaceful nights rest. We will look forward to maybe stopping back in at your park on our way south in the winter.

I'm very surprised at the comments of rude owners and no kids. Not the case for our stay! We are a blended family of 6 and travelled about 3 1/2 hrs for a weekend hiking trip. We stayed two nights in the "Luxury Cabins" #11. We had 4 kids, ages 15, 12, 11, and 7. It is not a large...

We stayed one night at the KOA in our 43 foot motorhome. This was our second stay here. The check-in process was friendly and prompt. Our full hook-up pull-thru site was clean and level. The cable signal was very fuzzy so we wound up using our antenna and got 7 channels. The water pressure was inconsistent -fine at times and...

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. As you note, we have been having some difficulty with the television service coming into the park. We have been trying to work with DirecTV to fix the problems on their end but as you can imagine if you deal with any utility, sometimes progress is slow. As...

The "owners" I guess they are the owners were so nasty and negative. I guess they do not like kids because we have 4 and that was the first uncivil comment. It got worse from there. They discouraged us from staying there because they did they liked their "peace and quiet." So do my husband and I. Our children are...

As Expected a great clean NO FRILLS park. Came here for a quick overnight stay in Feb 2017. Fast checkout and a simple process. I didn't like that they did not have Sewer hookup at the site. For me dragging our 37Ft Class C to the dump station wasn't our best option. We ended up just keeping the waste and...

Thanks for your review, Roccosoprano! I'm so glad you found our campground clean and safe - we pride ourselves on taking care of the park. It sounds from your comments that you did not make a reservation and came in after closing. The sites that we leave on our late check-in list are non-sewered sites suitable for big rigs in...

Clean, quiet, and comfortable. Stayed overnight with my dog on the way to a Malamute rescue (CHAAMP) near Staunton, to adopt a second dog. My dog enjoyed the dog park at the KOA. He even met other friendly dogs on our walks.

We stopped here instead of the Natural Bridge KOA to try something different the night before Thanksgiving. They wouldn't let us leave our water hooked up because of freeze concerns (hey just run your sink a little and it won't freeze) Wifi was super weak and water pressure on our hillside location was so weak when we did hookup that...

Thank you so much for your review! I'm sorry - and surprised! - that you found our wi-fi weak, as we have just completed a major overhaul of our wi-fi system and it's generally very speedy throughout the park. In fact, I do wish you'd called our office so we could check and see if the system needed to be...
