Dog owners should be more responsible. RV next to us had no consideration for others. Left 2 dogs barking for hours. They were so loud I could hear them over the television. Called office first day. Second day dogs barked most of evening when owners left .Young person listened but nothing was done. Next day my husband walked into the... More

This well run KOA is a great place to relax and it's not far from the Shenandoah Valley Ntl Park. Beautiful grounds with lovely plantings & great views, a serene welcome after a long driving day. Efficient check-in by genuinely friendly staff. Great tips and directions for our side trips. Their pool was open and sparkling clean. We had it... More

We briefly stopped here enrout to the Outer Banks from Kentucky. The staff as very nice and the campground was very well maintained. Would have loved to stay longer, but could not. Very easy to get to from the highway and yet it feels like it is very far away from the noise and bustle of it.

We just extended our stay here because it is the nicest KOA we have ever stayed at and they easily accommodated our 45 foot RV! The sites are spacious and have lovely views! Some RV sites, are at a higher level overlooking the fishing pond and they have decks assigned to them. When we arrived, one of the staff drive... More

I love the idyllic setting of this campground, with its little brook running through it leading to a duck pond. Ducks and ducklings roam the campsites facing the water (unlike geese, ducks don't leave poop everywhere.) Bathhouse was clean and well appointed, if just a little far from the primitive sites. I'm looking forward to staying here again in a... More

Spent a week there. The staff was very professional and treated you as family. A water pipe break caused a cable TV problem, but the staff jumped right on it . They got them fixed as quickly as possible. They kept the campers advised as quickly as they could. Nice pool and interesting fishing with the turtles.

What a great camp ground. Would love to stay in a spot that's not in the overnight area. It's clean, well kept, very nice employees and just what you look for when on the road. My ONLY complaint is that they advertise Wifi, but in the overnight area it is non-existent. I would love to stay in the other area... More

We were driving home from Michigan and wanted one more night of camping. We decided to stay here. I'm glad we did. It was so quiet, clean and friendly. Our site was nice, but I took a picture of another site on the lake that I hope to get! I can imagine it is beautiful in the fall when we... More
