The front desk manager was very friendly and accommodating. We picked this location to be close to the Tappahannock/Warsaw Moose Lodge, where we were attending a party. Loved the location near the fishing pier. The towels were small, but I brought my own. Our room didn’t have a coffee maker. But that wasn’t a huge deal for us.
Staff were friendly. But infrastructure and cleanliness of the motel were bad. Carpet and oven were dirty in our room. We tried to call the front desk but i think there was a problem in connection. We planned for three days but then we changed our mind and stayed in another motel for rest of the days. Overall we are disappointed with the rooms not the staff.
It was a very quick trip for me. I was in hurry and i want a room for refreshment. So I searched and found cheapest one for it. But i did mistake. Staff was very good and helpful. But heater was not working and hand towels were dirty.
They really do need a new marketing plan - one that includes bragging about all of the wildlife they provide at no cost. It was only the dreariness of a hurricane that drove me from this place. The owners are both wonderful, and accommodating. They made you feel as though you were a guest in their home. It was a nice clean room, and well worth the rate. I will definitely return but will bring my binoculars next time!
