Stayed here for almost a month on business in the DC area. The hotel from the outside looks very old, as the outside sign appears to be 80's era. The rooms also show considerable wear. There were attempts to repair but it was hard to miss the mismatched patches on the walls. Also, the loveseat was worn to the wood...

Carpet is worn and needs replacing. However we always take the AMTRAK to DC and if the train is late and your friendly car rental place is closed you can take your luggage on the METRO which has a stop at Union Station and ride out to the end of the line to Spring Road. The last Metro stop at...

5 min walk to metrostation; metro takes about 30 minutes to coty centre of d.c.; 10 min walk to 24 hour walmart, some gas stations to reach in less time; restaurants close by; breakfast was ok, but breakfast room was way too small for all the people staff not very friendly except shuttledriver and some of the cleaning ladies; check...

Outside looks great, however rooms are very old with bad carpet rust on interior doors, mold on bathroom ceiling and not enough "non smoking" rooms. I was given a smoking room after reserving non smoking and was told it was a non smoking. Had reservations for a week and moved out after first night. Staff was OK but not friendly...

The Comfort Inn is about a block or two to the Silver line metro stop and about a half hour ride to Metro Center in DC. It is in a commercial area of office buildings, stores and good dining options within a half mile. The motel seems pretty quiet sitting back from the road. Good senior rate of about $61...

We stayed here on our way to OBX. It was a perfect layover spot for us. Just off the highway and the room was comfortable for our needs. We got in late but the front desk staff was friendly and quick. The breakfast was delicious and a perfect way to start our day of driving. We were very pleased and...

Great location near Spring Hill Metro Station. Reasonable price for location. Plenty of shopping and restaurants within a few blocks. Free parking , they give you a tag to hang from rear view mirror. Room was average, a bit dated, but clean. Quiet . Free breakfast in morning was below average, small area where food was put out was very...

Stayed here with the wife and kids after 3-1/2 weeks of traveling the East Coast. Hotel is a little rundown. A/C in room blew right onto the bed. There was no way to adjust the vents. A/C also leaked. Carpet around A/C was wet. Front desk staff was a little rude. They never seemed liked they cared about helping people....

It is convenient to, but still quite a haul from, the Spring Hill Metro station. Especially if you have heavy luggage. The carpets are badly stained. The recliner is also dirty. And there is a musty smell throughout. For about $10 more I could have stayed at a 4* Embassy Row hotel.

We originally booked a hotel in DC but found out that parking our car would be a nightmare and include extra fees. We decided to come here. I loved that it was 1 block from the metro. It couldn't get anymore convenient that that. There was plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. We loved the breakfast. It served eggs, sausage,...
