Be aware that Virginia has two campgrounds by this name. This one is in a river valley west of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lots of activities. On site canteen and ice cream wagon. Games room and pavilion. Picnic area. Wi-Fi is tenuous and sites are packed in where utilities exist. The place is overrun by domestic rabbits. Staff will do...

When calling to reserve a spot, staff was very friendly and efficient. Having never been there before I asked which was the better of the 2 spots they offered and took their advice. We were not disappointed. Clean, well managed. A nice pool, 4 hot tubs, a mini golf and stocked fishing lake make it a wonderful place to camp....

Really nice check-in people. We are tent campers, and they recommended a fantastic tent site right opposite the waterfalls. The place was nearly deserted when we were there, so felt very spacious; the sites look a bit close together for peak season. The river area is lovely. Bathrooms were super clean, the pool was in great shape, and laundry was...

We had a great time! The rabbits running around the park are very unique. My dog enjoyed them and really wanted to catch one. The river and the waterfalls are beautiful and very relaxing. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the in door hot tubs. All was very nice. If in this area again, I would definitely stay here.

When we initially arrived at the campground I was worried. We had to request a new site as the one they claimed was 50' was too short for our 40' camper. When I went to the office to tell someone they insisted I must have the wrong spot and sent someone to help me "find the right site". I did...

Our campsite was nestled in the trees on a nice flat spot. There are many, probably 100's of bunnies, at this campground. Some were so tame that young children were able to pick them up. Pretty waterfall near the tent camping area. We did not use the pool or the hot tub room. The hot tub room did not look...

RV rental nice, pool & hot tubs where good, game room was sparse, concession was dirty (workers dropping lids & put them on cups as well as handing food with bare hands and then working at front desk :(. We had BARKING dogs across from us:( Office workers not nice; I stood waiting while they talked among themselves and ate...

We loved the campground. Our children LOVED the bunnies!! Most of the employees were nice. The place was very clean and well kept. Bunnies are everywhere and they love fruit loops. =) Not a very big laundry room but it worked out. There was plenty of things for the kids to do.

What a great place to camp. Everyone is friendly, helpful and smiling. Facility is clean. Nothing like sitting back and enjoying nature at its best. Everyone should plan a campground visit here where your kids can run around and you don't have to worry about them because they are looking at the bunnies, fishing or riding the bikes.

We heard about this campground through friends. We stayed for the first time in the Spring of 2015, and went back several more times that year (and plan to return this year). Low points: The campsites are VERY close together. If you don't have much experience getting your camper into sites, it might be best not to camp here until...
