My husband and I took advantage of an off-season special (March) and stayed in the Goshen Pass Room. The room was great, breakfast and service was wonderful, and the mountain views are gorgeous! The inn was very close to our primary excursion location: Crabtree Falls. The ONLY negative is the driveway from the main road to the main lodge. It's...

We're glad these folks enjoyed their stay and we do know our driveway is an interesting one. But no one (in 33 years) has ever had a problem,,, you just go 5~10 mph and take it easy. Once you've been down it once, it's not so bad. We're looking forward to their return visit!

Very peaceful and conducive to hold meetings. Rooms were charming, clean and comfortable, staff was out of this world, and the food was amazing. Lots of beauty, sunsets from the porch, hiking to the Falls, and plenty of antiquing possibilities. The only thing I didn't like was having to leave.

The Sugar Tree Inn is a great place to unplug. It is nestled in the mountain forest just below the Blue Ridge Parkway. The location made a great launching point for our daily excursions whether it was hiking, visiting wineries/breweries, or driving into town for the day. The hosts are exceptional and Becky is a great cook - you have...

We stayed 2 nights in St Mary's cabin. This accommodation was spacious and had a balcony that overlooked the forest with deer, squirrels and various bird life. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Cooked breakfasts were great and a chance to chat to other guests if you so feel. Our hosts gave us helpful information on what to visit in...

Stayed in St Mary's Cabin. Very Clean and comfortable. Back porch looks into the woods so it feels like there is no one around at all. Breakfast was phenomenal... Baked Oatmeal Rules! Dinner was cozy and well prepared. Owners are very friendly. Already planning the next trip. FYI. The road in is fine. It is a single lane and has...

The Sugar Tree Inn is rustically beautiful! Very nice innkeepers, very clean, in a beautiful setting, great food. We highly recommend the pork loin -- and the carrot cake -- if you choose to have a weekend dinner. My only reason for giving the inn a "very good" rather than "excellent" is for this heads-up: the inn is literally in...

Overall, this is a nice B&B. Not exceptional. We stayed in the Sugar Tree room in the main lodge, which says it has a full mountain view. It does, but from one very small window plus the window in the bathroom! Dinner was adequate. We both had the crab cakes. The dinner rolls were great, but when we asked if...

We had a lovely stay at the Sugar Tree Inn just a few weeks ago. The room and food were both lovely. Unfortunately the weather during our stay was not ideal, but Becky was able to give us some great suggestions for local attractions such as caverns that made for a lovely weekend away.

My wife and I stayed for one night at this beautiful property and will go back again without a second thought when our travels have us anywhere near their area! We stayed in the Tye River room which was perfect. Large, quaint, spotless and we had one of our best night's sleep that we can recall in a long time!...

We have stayed twice now at Sugar Tree and found it to be lovely both times. The area around the inn is beautiful, tucked away on back mountain roads, and the rooms are cozy and inviting. We stayed in the Sugar Tree Room and the Tye River room. Breakfast is homemade and delicious, and you can watch the hummingbirds and...
