Overall OK. Bed and bathroom were clean enough… However the box of tissues was alll wet and had mold and bar of soap was already open when we arrived. I know it’s a budget motel but those are two things that could easily have been noticed and addressed when cleaning. I was there for the night with my 2 month old and 2 year old and didn’t feel comfortable having him walk around without shoes. The sheets had some holes in them, looked like burn marks maybe from cigarettes. Okay as a last resort if you need an overnight but would not recommend doing more than one night.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed in. It was dirty and unsanitary, which is particularly upsetting given the current public health crisis. The toilet seat was dirty and there was urine on the edge of the toilet bowl. The floors had not been vacuumed or cleaned. The microwave was filthy and the plastic cover for a plastic cup had been ripped open. I was awakened in the middle of the night by loud banging from another room and discovered a large insect climbing on the wall.

This was the worst hotel experience of my life. When we arrived at the Econo Lodge and proceeded to check in, the front desk clerk had a bad attitude for some unknown reason and was not polite when checking us in. The whole process seemed very rushed and disingenuous. After gathering our belongings and heading up to the room, we noticed that there was floor damage as soon as we walked in, possibly from a leak above. When we looked up at the ceiling, we actually saw a mushroom growing out of it. We suspected that this was because of water damage and likely that there was mold in the ceiling as well. We decided we could no longer stay at the hotel and quickly gathered our belongings. When my boyfriend went to go and speak to the front desk clerk about the issue and how it was unacceptable and that we would like a refund, she replied “well that’s your opinion”. She stated that their refund/complaint policy is only valid within the first 15 minutes of check in. However, I do not believe that mold falls into this category as it is a very serious health risk for customers. We did have the option to request a different room, but we could likely suspect that mold was not just in one room. If it’s in the ceiling, it’s definitely spread throughout. We could not believe that an establishment as popular as Econo Lodge was allowing this to happen and ignoring the health risks it poses to its guests. Staying at this hotel would be a waste of money and a health risk.

After my son came home from deployment we checked in to stay here for a night. Paid $165. Our first non smoking room smelled like smoke. It was dirty but not too bad. I asked for another room. It was filthier than the first. Every inch of it. The woman was very short and rude. We checked right out. No refund. I did get $38 back from Booking.com that Econo Lodge over charged us.

Checked in 11pm. Had reserved a smoking room which are all upstairs apparently. Asked the night clerk was there an elevator or someone to help me with my bag and got a blunt, dismissive NO. Eventually got to the room with help from 2 very kind guests. Not only was the a/c switched off , it was unplugged. Temperature reading in the room was 86f. I tried to reset it but lowest it would go was 75. Went back to the lobby to ask why it was unplugged and how to reset it. The lady shrugged her shoulders at me. She is by far the rudest Front Desk person I have had the misfortune to encounter. Another clerk came by and asked what the problem was and offered to bring me a rotary fan......Ms. Self Importance couldn't have offered? The room remained at 82f all night and was extremely uncomfortable. There was a cigarette burn in one of the white sheets and the floor had not even been swept. Lightbulb was burnt out in the grotty bathroom. In the morning when I was checking out, I mentioned the issues to the Manager who apologised profusely for the inconveniences and the rudeness of the clerk. The only upside was both the Manager and the day clerk , Donel were very pleasant. A start contrast to the attitude of the previous evening. It was only an overnight stay but as a paying customer, I expect cleanliness, a comfortable temperature and a polite reception. I got none of these. I would not return nor would I recommend.

If you're a non smoker this place is not for you. You can barely breathe. The doors are not safely locked. You can barely look out the windows. Totally outdated. Way to expensive for the quality of stay.

Worst night staff I have ever dealt with in my entire life! All I asked for was an outlook blank calendar print off from any basic windows OS or even a blank piece of paper that I could draw squares on to make my own calendar. The "Night manager Donnell" would not spell his name for me and asked me to leave the office after saying he could but would not print off a calendar for me and when I said I wanted to speak to his manager. He said he wanted to call the police so I replied with please, lets call the cops and I waited....after 30 seconds he asked me to quit starring him down and leave the front office when all I was doing was waiting for him to call the police. I got a call to my room 15 mins later saying he called his manager, not the police, and I was no longer allowed in the lobby. Worst customer service I have ever received in my entire life by far and he had the audacity to ask if I was "stoned" for repeatedly asking for his name when I am pretty sure he and his friends in the room down the hall were under the influence! Do not stay here unless you are hiding from the police and a criminal because the day before I called the cops on a couple of abandoned bags containing credit cards, and military ID. He was the manager the night before and as soon as I walked in he said I know who you are and I know you called the cops yesterday. After he said those words he refused to help me from there on. This is not a military friendly establishment at all!
