For the week I was there 1 of 2 elevators were not working. The working elevator would not go to one specific floor and forced people to get off above of below and take the stairs. The pool is literally in the lobby of the check-in at front desk. Imagine about 20-30 kids screaming and splashing while you are trying to get your room key. As much as I wanted to use the pool, after that many kids....NO THANKS>>> not sure what was left behind. The rooms were very basic, the internet barely functioned, first room had a couple things broken in the room and none of the dishes were washed but were put away in the cabinet and we got moved to a second room where we had to get light replaced and coax cable to TV replaced. We made the best of it, but won't go back again.

Excellent view, service, room was clean and in good condition, and parking was plentiful. Would definitely stay here again- great location! The laundry room is clean, the pool is in great condition- the only drawback is you have to walk through the lobby to get to and from it.

Average accommodations, comfortable (except for air vent directed downward, toward sofa). Small bathroom sink with no counter space. Coffee in lobby & water cooler in gym typically empty. Great water pressure in shower.

Always enjoy returning to Virginia Beach for our vacation needs! You will find great restaurants and the Winter time is when we visit! Our family has been with us in the Summer as they love the beach and all of the water activities! Virginia Beach never disappoints!!

We had to switch rooms because the shower didn't work in the first one, but the lock on the second room didn't work so we had to switch a second time only to have the door "pop" open in the middle of the night EVERY NIGHT, luckily we had the deadbolt on every night. The hot tub only worked one night out of the week. You could only see the TV in your room if every light was off and every shade was drawn. The pizza place in the lobby that advertised being "open late year round" closed sometimes at 11pm or 3pm with no warning or consistency". The only ice machine and vending machine that work are on the 8th floor. Whenever we entered the hotel, left the hotel, went to the pool, or tried to just get something to eat, we were berated about attending a time share seminar by people who literally wouldn't take no for an answer, they followed us to our room and to our car, only stopping when we shut a door in their faces, we tried being nice the first time or two, but they literally would NOT leave us be, I even offered to attend the seminar without my wife, just so they would leave us alone, but they said we had to attend together!…

Me and my husband have been to Ocean Key a few times. It's always a pleasure to stay. This time was no different. Excellent location; it's on the quiet end, and it's directly across the street from the beach. My only complaint this time is we stayed for 7 days and only received a half roll of toilet paper and one set of towels and wash rags. We asked for more towels and never got it and had to go to the front desk for rolls of toilet paper. Oh and the beds are not pillow top. I always take a mattress topper.

Hotel slightly out of date, rooms cleanliness well below average. Probably the biggest complaint was the young ladies at the front desk, less than helpful, and acted very disinterested. Like the rest of our country, hard to find people who actually want to work for a living.

The location is the prime reason to go here. It is literally right at the beginning of the boardwalk. My wife and I love riding our bikes on the boardwalk. It's only a few miles from the aquarium and anything you'd like to do in Virginia Beach.

This hotel is not a resort. They are not on the beach. The staff were very friendly! However we chose to check out the same night. It just wasn't what we expected. I would not choose to stay here again.
