We arrived after a booking problem at our first hotel and found this place. Was concerned a little because there was glass separating the front clerks from the public and the lobby was locked. But they were friendly. This hotel is a little older, but our room smelled very nice and seemed clean. The towels were plentiful and though the electric plugs were minimal, we were able to get by. We were only there for 7 hours as we had a very early flight to catch. So did not use the tub, TV or frig. The bedding was nice and pillows were adequate. When we left at 3:30 AM, we did see police cruising the parking lot, which made us feel more comfortable. The night was very quiet and did not hear any loud noises or issues at this hotel.

They are dirty nasty they put me on dnr because I have videos of they room wit bed bugs n roaches all in them tricks n plucks be in and out the rooms trash everywhere they are nasty please keep ur money or go somewhere else I promise I will regret stayin here. Clean room, perfect for our quick stop-over. Bedside outlet (extension cord with multiple access) wasn't plugged in... wall outlet was far in behind bed, so had to charge phone (which I use for wake-up) on opposite side of room. Beyond that, was a pleasant, comfortable spot to rest up for the next day. Convenient location to restaurants... quick fix for food and coffee!!

On my way to Chincoteague, VA I made a quick stop in Virginia Beach. I stayed here because the TripAdvisor Reviews were good. This is a really nice Red Roof Inn. There appears to be a fridge and microwave in every room. Check in was quick and no hassle. The room was very clean. There was a soap and a shampoo in the tub with plenty of towels. The cable TV is excellent. It has several HBO channels and a variety of regular cable channels. The vending and ice machines are convenient. The wi-fi is good also. Some disappointments. The lobby is closed, so there is no coffee. There is also not a coffee maker in the room. You will have to go to a store off property to buy it. But there is a Dunkin, Panera, McDonalds and several convenience stores very close. Also, this is obviously an older motel so there are very few electrical outlets in the room. Usually there are some on the lamps or close to the bed. There was only one available on the wall across from the bed on the wall. And there is one by the vanity near the sink. There is a nice desk where you would normally put your computer to use, there there are no electrical outlets anywhere near the desk. So if you're staying here, it is a good place but be prepared. Bring extension cords and a coffee maker!! But it is definitely one of the better Red Roof Inns I've stayed at!…

Stayed here over the weekend for a car event in va beach. The room smelled like someone was growing weed in the next room. There was weed on the phone in our room, thanks but no thanks. The bed was so squeaky and uncomfortable. My fiancé and I slept in our clothes and socks for fear of filth. The shower bottom was brown and didn’t drain. It was definitely a party or something above us until about 1am. No bugs so that was great! Ac blew realllllly cold, awesome. And the front desk staff was really nice! I don’t think we’ll be back lol.

The first room we got the door was open, it looked like someone was in the room. The bed covers were all wrinkled & burn on the counter. The second room was better. I do have a dog so it’s not easy for me to find hotels. I know your in a vacation area but you really need to update your room. There was no coffee machines or blow dryers in the rooms. That’s basic equipment today

Mistakenly booked a room with a single bed, was fixed then and there with two beds (at no cost). Convenient location, and good overall value relative to other options in the area. Frequent guest due to generous rewards program.

It looks like the place had been worked on but very superficial No coffee maker in a regular room only in king. They did get me one TV confusing couldn't get channels no guide or information No freezer in the refrig. Curtains were dirty. No hair dryer. And no tissues and when I asked they gave me 2 tiny to go tissues like you carry in your purse. Bathroom could have been cleaner as well as a better vacuum job on the floor. Towels rough. If it was more than one night I would have checked out.

This hotel is located off North Hampton Boulevard is surrounded by restaurants, fast food and upscale shopping. The grounds were very clean and inviting. The staff is extremely nice. The rooms are very modern. And the price for the room is very affordable. I will certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and will stay here in any future stays that I have.

A little bit of a drive from the Coliseum but closer to shopping and First Landing State Park. Typical red roof....not fancy but clean and serviceable. Hotel staff was friendly and efficient. Great value for the money and I would stay again.
