Hotel's Favourite
The facilities are modern, beautiful and relaxing. Its very pleasing and we will enjoy the amenities, balcony, pool bar, beach and valet service. The room has two separate areas with a sofa bed in one area, for the kids, and a bedroom. Its perfect for a big family.

First the positives, CLEAN, well priced, good location. Friendly staff. Large spacious rooms. This hotel provides a daily coupon to use in the Tin Cup Cafe, we checked in at 10 PM so our first coupon was worthless. The next morning we were able to use a coupon dated that day and we had an excellent breakfast, that is where it's ended, restaurant was closed for the rest of our stay, 30 dollars worth of coupons to the trash. My wife had booked on the Bon Voy requesting extra pillows, after checking in none to be found, We called the desk and we're informed that due to staffing we would have to do without. As my wife's back is important I have up my pillow for her comfort. All in all a good stay considering the small inconveniences. I was set on a 3 to 4 star review as i like to be accurate but on the morning of our departure 4 AM we were treated to no Hot water, we were forced to do without showers for our long flight home. She's more than just a pretty face, Emily made my birthday stay Amazing!! She made me and my husband not only feel welcome, but wanted. Very helpful and very accommodating! Can't say enough about the staff and property. From the moment we checked in till check out we were treated like rock-stars! Special shout out to Darrell and Jessica, their warm and friendly greetings set our new year's getaway off to a terrific start. Paul and Tin Cup staff helped us ring in the new year. We enjoyed the hotel so much that we brought our niece with her family. We extended our stay because we loved the hotel. The British Girl on the reception was very helpful. Julio the maintenance man was very helpful fixing the safe. The ocean view and the breakfast were excellent

Rooms were nice size with pull out couch, small fridge and microwave. Not a direct view of bay but view from balcony. Restaurant on property, Tin Cup, was good and reasonably priced. Very pleasant stay. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

Sometimes little things tell a story... Overall it's a nice hotel. But the toilet paper holder in our bathroom was completely broken and the TP had been placed on the back of the commode. Not exactly desirable to have to twist around to reach it. On the nightstand was a little device called a Cubietime. I assume it was supposed to function as a clock, displaying the time and allowing for alarms. It was completely dead -- not a hint of life from it. We made coffee with the in-room supplies. One of the creams did not have an expiration date that I could see, and when I poured it into the coffee, a big blob floated on the top of the coffee. Attention to detail by the staff would make this a much better option.

I am writing this review about my very first time staying at a DELTA MARRIOTT HOTEL. Me and my family stayed at THE DELTA MARRIOTT VIRGINIA BEACH HOTEL for two nights for the first time ever on Dec 12th thru Dec 14th from the time we arrived DARRELL with valet greeted us with the warmest welcome he was very professional kind, and informative!!!! He helped with my 92yr old grandmother from bermuda and she knew his parents that just so happened to be from bermuda (small world) Our room was ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL with a balcony that had A BREATH TAKING OCEANVIEW!!!! Our stay was FANTASTIC from start to finish!!!! THANK YOU DELTA HOTELS for making our stay AMAZING and THANK YOU DARRELL for your kindness me and my family truly appreciated it!!!
