Families beware (Non-pot-smoking): We had to put towels under connecting room door to keep out Pot Smoke. Yes, it is legal to smoke pot in Virginia. Like almost all public places, including restaurants, bars and HOTELs, smoking of any kind is NOT permitted. This went on all night long. Had to call front desk, however this did not stop them. I did speak with management the following morning and they were apologetic, and comp'ed valet parking. Nice gesture but didn't make up for disrupted sleep and annoyance. They also left their paraphernalia on outside balcony next to ours. I really didn't appreciate having to explain to my young son what this stuff was.

From the very 1st few hiccups regarding booking to the final request for accurate billing post my birthday May19th my requests for an incredible oceanfront high floor “view” w/balcony were met and exceeded! In fact the accommodations restaurant staff front desk associates were so exemplary that we booked another 2nd room we were simply overjoyed by the hotel exteriors and amenities. Kudos to MrJoseph a concierge and ambassador for the hotel and a true outstanding individual that’s room choice and recommendations for me as a Hilton Diamond guest made us literally “rebook” a second room for our extended family. We were blown away!! Ms Alexis LeClaire (not sure if that’s her name) but a Sales IN HOUSE Supv was also exceptional in assisting between applications on the Hilton app vs the modifications with the property direct and the “wait” times that were exhausting but “do-able” as no doubt the bookings perhaps the 1st of the pre Memorial “Va Beach” season were well worth the rate and the wait!! Our hotel rooms spacious views were simply gorgeous from the 16th floor and spectacular in its effect! Kudos to all we will absolutely return again!!…

When I called the front desk at 4:00 PM on 1-19-23, I was transferred to a third party to handle the registration. I was told I was talking to the Front Desk at the Hilton. My Honor Rewards were not honored because the Hilton transferred me to a third party to handle the billing. Beware of this Shocking Practice!!!!!!

Reserved a premium corner room (2010) with jacuzzi tub and amazing views. We splurged having stayed at Hilton Garden Inn, both Hampton Inn & Suites and both the Courtyards before (No & So.). This was our 3rd stay here. The first 2 were lower floor rooms with just ok views, so we expected to be wowed and assumed we just hadn't paid enough for the great stuff. Nope, I recommend you stay away and spend your money at any of those other places. Pros: service was friendly, view from room was breaktaking, jacuzzi tub worked. Cons: toilet didn't flush even after the service guy came to fix it. Had to wait to use the lobby facilities in the morning. Room itself was tiny (12x15). Balcony rail was rusty and furniture looked worn. Carpet was stained. Table was missing a lamp. Like someone walked away with it and left an empty desk. Wall was missing a painting (nail was still there). All furniture was chipped and worn. Jacuzzi tub took 30 minutes to fill at which point the water was cold. Had a night cap and the drinks were watered down. We had dinner Repeal Bar (recommended) left tipsy and ended the night sober at catch31. When we went to check out early due to the conditions, they didn't offer a move (they were overbooked for the weekend). All that to say, some of those other places are not super fancy but they're solid and their expensive decor isn't waiting to get back in black after covid to get replaced. For the rates Hilton Va beach are charging, you could get a perfectly good queen double at the courtyard and spread out like a king. This place is crazy. Never going back.…

I love the great service from Sydni G. she helped me have the best stay I have ever had at an establishment from the first day and even with switching rooms for an extended stay. Also gave great recommendations for local food spots in the area.

The service from the front desk, restaurant and bar was outstanding. The room was beautiful and easy to get to. The beach is perfectly white sand. Validated parking was convenient and downtown was excellent.

I can't believe the rooms telephone did not work. They claim that the hotel is in the process of upgrading them. The hotel should properly replaced the phones in a timely manner. Our room was not cleaned on time the first day. Their was trash in the hallway on our floor in the corner the whole weekend. I had to tell the room service person about it. I think the hotel needs to update it processes to better assist customers.

this is a very nice location next to the Neptune statue and the oceanfront. We also ate at Catch 31 and Harry our server was awesome, bery attentive, and didn’t forget a single detail of our order. 5 stars for him! The only complaint I had was I never got an upgrade as a Diamond member but these things are never guaranteed and i understand the hotel was full this weekend, so bad timing i guess. Would’ve enjoyed a room with an oceanview more than a cityview for my sons birthday but that’s ok. I will still rate it 5 stars! Access to the executive lounge was also good for bfast and snacks throughout the day! Might stay again next year!

Marijuana smells everywhere, no management to control balcony parties late at night, no one answers the phone when you call the front desk. 90 minute delay getting our vehicle due to large, uncontrolled group commandeering the valet area. 4 STAR prices for 1 STAR quality.

My family enjoyed their stay. Everything was clean. The view of the beach was beautiful. All the employees were very nice and professional. Ronnie, one of the valets, was awesome and Hunter who worked the front desk and filled in at the valet was great too.
