Location very family friendly. We found a lot of attractions in the area. The staff was very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. On our last day we had to leave at 4 a.m. the guest service team was willing and available to help us with our needs thank you Ronnie for your help
For the past 10 years or so we had stayed at a different oceanfront hotel, and decided to switch this year (I'm not great with change) :) And let me tell you, I am so glad that we did! This hotel is clean, the views are amazing, staff is fantastic and very polite. Also, you can't beat having Lager heads on site with all of their amazing food! We ate there multiple times during our stay. We had to call for extra towels at one point, which were brought to us within minutes! The room was amazingly clean, the bed was so comfortable and you can't beat that view! We are already excited for next years stay! A very special shout out to Quinn who helped us resolve an issue we had a checkout, Thank you so much again! She did an awesome job! The customer service here goes above and beyond. If there is any downside at all, I would say it's the area where you unload/load your vehicle can get extremely busy! No ones fault, it's just the layout, but be prepared to possibly wait just a bit. They did awesome at getting all the cars in and out. Thank you all again for making our vacation amazing, even when you are dealing with staffing issues and the craziness of the world. It can't be easy taking care of so many customers, and I applaud you all for the job you are doing!…
I would like to say that the customer service at this location was great. The staff was very helpful and I want to acknowledge one of the lobby staff Ronnie for taking care our needs during our stay in Virginia Beach.
After a mixup at another Hilton, Garden Inn supplied us with a beautifully appointed suite, complimentary valet service and a discount card for dinner. Caitlin at the front desk was efficient, kind and knowledgeable. Ronnie, at valet, was personable, well spoken with superior customer service. Highly recommend and will be going again!
They charge almost $ 16 plus the tip for breakfast and not much to offer in the meal. The front desk don't tell you that when you check in. We did not know that the breakfast was going to be expensive and not free. There is a sign for the gym but no way to find the room because the inside door does not have any lettering sign.
I've stayed at this hotel since it opened on the oceanfront and it still remains a favorite. All rooms are oceanfront and staff is always 1st class. Parking is across the street, but easy walk for access. Lots of places to eat nearby as well.
Our first visit to VA beach for an event at the convention center. The room and hotel was very clean. We were in room 1002, which was very roomy. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back when it's warmer and stay here again. The location of the hotel is very convenient. Looking forward to future visits.
The hotel itself and our stay was clean and comfortable and it's a great location right along the beach and boardwalk. We were in town for an event at the Virginia Beach Sports Center and it was definitely convenient for that. The breakfast buffet was excellent as well. The one big negative for us was that we were supposed to be part of a block for our event, but the website never worked for our group rate for some reason. So as not to miss getting a room, we had to book at a regular rate, with the hope that the front-desk staff would be able to help us once we arrived. Unfortunately two front-desk staff members at check-in gave us two different excuses for why they couldn't switch us over to the block group rate, so our one-night stay ended up being a lot more expensive than expected.…
We were in town for our son’s box lacrosse tournament. We were given room 601, an oversized queen suite, which was perfect. It had a front seating room with sofabed, desk, television, and a couple of chairs. The bedroom had another television, chair and two queen beds. The room ran the whole side of the hotel, so we had windows facing the front and side and a back balcony that overlooked the ocean. The only complaint about the room is that the bathroom felt too large. They should have made the room closet larger instead of the massive bathroom, but that is minor. Staff were friendly. They serve coffee downstairs in the morning, but only Starbucks Pike Place, so no dark roast option. Parking is across the street in a garage for only $10 a night. The front desk will give you a key card to get in and out of the garage throughout your stay. Super easy. Valet parking is also available, but I’m not sure why anyone would pay extra for that when self-park is so easy and close. We ate one meal in the hotel at Lager Heads. Burgers and crab cake were good. There is a pool that is part indoor/part outdoor. We saw kids swimming inside, but didn’t have time to use it ourselves. Overall, this was a great choice, comfortable and convenient.…
My trip was amazing. The staff was impeccable, especially our valet assistant Ronnie! The room was very clean and staff ensured we had additional items as requested. They made suggestions on restaurants and outings for entertainment.
