Ninety minutes from the hustle and bustle of Washington, D.C. this B&B/Inn has it all. Four great rooms (named after wine grapes - you can see the vineyard across the lake but it isn't active any more), restaurant, pub and stables. For those looking to relax, grab a chair by the lake, order a beverage from the bar and read,... More

The Blue Rock Inn is delightful. The bedrooms and public rooms are very comfortable and include lovely amenities. Our first evening there we enjoyed a wonderful dinner on the Pub’s terrace with a magnificent view of the pond, fountain, geese, horses, and the Blue Ridge Mountains. For our second evening we ate another delicious meal in the formal dining room... More

We used to stay at the Blue Rock years and years ago, but stopped going when the rooms began to show unaddressed signs of wear and tear. Having heard that a new owner had renovated, we decided to try again for a birthday celebration. The Blue Rock is back ! and may be better than ever before. Hospitality, comfort, cleanliness,... Under relatively new management. Charming accommodations and restaurant on 80+ acres of horse farm. Close to Washington, DC a quick getaway at a reasonable price. Inn keeper can't do enough to make your stay a pleasant interlude. We will return.

I just want to confirm what all the recent guests at The Blue Rock Inn have stated: This is a beautiful inn. I took my parents there for dinner and one night stay after visiting Skyline Drive. The grounds, rooms, beds, staff and food were all excellent. I loved the balconys that overlooked the horse farm, pond and surrounding mountains.... More

Blue Rock Inn is a very cool place to stay. Our room ('Chardonnay') was nice-sized and very well appointed, with a great view over the Inn's duck pond and grounds. The Inn itself is very attractive and only a couple miles from the little town of Washington and about six miles from Shenandoah Nat'l Park and Skyline Drive. We chose... More

My boyfriend and I recently spent 2 glorious days at the Inn. When we arrived late on Friday the 17th I was still strung out from work. I got up at the crack of dawn, walked the grounds and was completely relaxed. The views are breathtaking! Breakfast was superb and it was great talking with Chef Gerard - what a... More
