We were warmly welcomed by the owners. The Inn is conveniently located to various shops. When we came back after dinner, port and chocolates awaited us in the living room. Breakfast was delicious preceded by coffee (brewed to perfection) and home made muffins. They have a lovely garden and the place was immaculate. Can't wait to go back.

We stayed for a night and have nothing but good things to say. The Inn consists of a beautiful old house with a stunning garden. The owners are lovely and full of great advice for what to see and do in the area (including suggestions for what to order if you have dinner at the Inn at Little Washington). The...

We ended up staying here before heading over to the Inn at Little Washington. It is within walking distance to the surrounding shops and restaurants. Also, it's very easy to drive from here to Shenandoah for day hiking.

We stayed at the Gay Street Inn in April 2016 (this was our 3rd time at the inn and the second time staying with Gary and Wendy). The first two times, we stayed in the Bradams Ridge Room. This time, I picked the Mountain View Room to change things up. What a difference! While both rooms are comfortable and cozy,...

The space and grounds are quite beautiful. Parking in front of Inn. Small front porch with 2 rockers. Innkeepers are super nice and...

Like almost everyone else who finds themselves in Washington, Virginia who does not already live there, we came for dinner at the Inn at Little Washington, which is a magical treat for those who adore food and can mortgage their children's futures to partake. As we have in the past, we elected to save a few dollars and stay at...

Personal greetings as soon as we arrived (early) from Gary and Wendy as they helped us with our small luggage. Gary immediately began relating "here's what's going to happen", which included all about our room, the port and chocolates waiting for us when we would return from dinner, and a recap of what we should expect from the menu at...
