So, I've never stayed at an Econo Lodge before, but I probably will again, thanks to our experience at the Econo Lodge Colonial, in Williamsburg. I found this place through a new travel site that I found on Fromers, I think. I needed a clean place to crash with the family late one night before taking the group to Busch...

This is a quaint, quiet, clean place to stay off the beaten path but surprisingly close to all of Williamsburg attractions. Colonial Williamsburg is a short 1/4 mile away, easy to walk to. Busch Gardens and Water Country are only 3 miles away. Many restaurants (12-15)from all price ranges are within 1 mile. They offer both exterior and interior hallway...

the hotel is certainly inexpensive, and it shows in the quality and choice of food at the complimentary) breakfast. The pool closes early, which is necessary to protect the sleep of the people staying in the pool-facing rooms, but feels way too early for the hottest days of summer. The location is off the main traffic routes, and the availability...

The reception staff was courteous, our room was clean, as were the fridge and microwave. The bedding and towels were new and of the quality expected at a motel. The mattresses were a little on the hard side, but also new and comfortable enough for two nights. There is only one pillow per person. I always bring my own, but...

Really it's you get what you pay for. Rooms were clean enough, and staff was friendly. Nothing over the top should be expected here. If you are wanting perfect rooms it's best to not book something that costs less than $100 a night. Worked great for what we needed, which was a place to stay for the night before going...

Pros: Great value. Comfy bed. Clean rooms. Nice (but not prime) location. Nice staff. Breakfast available until 10am. Cons: Breakfast is just the basics (mini muffins, toast, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee). Everything is just the basics. We didn't even have conditioner in our room. I called the front desk, and they don't even keep it there. That was a bit...

This hotel is very basic yet a good price. At first, we were given a smoking room (which we didn't want), but we told management and they gladly gave us a non-smoking room! The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Small continental breakfast but enough to fill you up. I would stay here again.

We stayed here on our way to Virginia Beach - my wife and I, my son and our two grand daughters. I chose the hotel based on the distance from VA Beach, ease of access from the highway and mainly because it was one of the few hotels in the area that could accommodate all five of us in one...

Great little place close to everything. Rooms were clean and pool area was nice and sunny. Our room was in an inside hallway but most rooms had outside entrances. Plenty of parking in the back. Prices were very good. Free continental breakfast was a nice perk. The staff were very nice and helpful. Our door broke the motel was full...

OK for the night as we passed through. Good price. The room was pretty clean and everything worked. Our only problem was that the room smelled of cigarettes. I called the desk and they did not seem to understand the problem. We figured for one night it was ok. A lot of smaller hotels have this problem. We could also...
