This hotel is a wonderful choice when visiting Colonial Williamsburg. The staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly, the facility is super clean, and the location is next to the Visitors' Center and convenient shuttles. The breakfast choices were many and varied. Parking is free. I highly recommend this place.

Every time we stay at the Woodlands, the staff are so extremely nice and they help with anything we need. Breakfast is always delicious, and the rooms are well-kept and presentable. The grounds are well-manicured. There's a rockin' splash park for kids too, and I've used it before (but not this time)

For the cost of approx. $200 per night you get a third rate hotel room (on the small side). Very basic continental breakfast and almost no water pressure. They do keep it very clean though. And service room promptly and efficiently. I would not stay there again, there are plenty of good hotels around which would have cost half of...

Great - all the staff were friendly and helpful. The refreshment machines were a little challenging. The price was great, and it was a short walk to colonial Williamsburg. I would recommend more food choices in the gift shop since the machines did not work so well.

Fine value for money. We were especially glad that staying at Woodlands meant we didn't need a car at all. When we went to Jamestown one day, we were able to travel via city buses. The hotel is comfortable, and the staff is excellent.

After a daylong drive, we were welcomed at the Woodlands reception desk by a staff member who couldn't have been more accommodating. The Craftsman-style building had a comfortable feel, and the property was lovely, as well as conveniently located a short walk from the Colonial Williamsburg visitors center. I had only one minor complaint, which the staff immediately addressed, and...

We found the hotel staff friendly and helpful, the hotel overall clean and well maintained, and the value for staying with children well worth it. We will stay here again. The high points for those traveling with children: The suite layout (back to front) was a king bedroom (with door), a short hall with a bath on one side and...

I loved the convenience of the hotel in location to Colonial Williamsburg. Shuttle service was available, and it was close to a lot of good restaurants. The room was very comfortable and quiet (we were a good distance from the lobby). Staff was helpful and friendly.

We spent 3 nights in the Woodlands. The rooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom could have been a little larger, but it was fine over all. The people were very nice. Whenever I requested anything from them, they were very helpful. Sandra at the front desk was very accommodating when I had to request a rush...
